Let's see. 40 min race, existing lap record a 2:05. My guess is 19 laps. One either way isn't going to break my fuel strategy ;)

Didn't see any gt2 records? Sure we've raced them here though ???

Not even turned a lap yet. RSR is always horrible in low downforce config  :(

Oh dear MJ, get down the optician's  :P

Napo's time using the Esperante GTLM are several seconds quicker than anything I can do.

Ah that's why I'm slower.. Crap eyesight  ;D saw the Esperante after posting but couldn't remember what class it belonged too. Memory as well as eyesight failing  :-[ ;)

So in the spirit of competition, what times are you guys getting?

I got just under a 9 in race trim. But I think a low 9 will be my regular race pace. Not expecting that I'll be that competitive with those times. You?

I haven't done any laps yet sadly and can't remember what times I did last time we raced here. Not at my home PC so can't check. Legzys Panoz will blow us all away anyway  :(

Edit: to H@L, have you been on the NAGP site lately? They appear to have an awesome set of Gt1 and 2 cars available for free download. Would make a great future series  8)

Another race to forget for me  :( only managed 20 mins praccy earlier today and always struggle at this frustrating track in low downforce config.
After several races of falling off early and having to chase a whole field, I decided to take it easy in the first few laps while I sized up QS ahead.
Then on lap 4 I was in his tow and drafted out to the left on the downhill left only to find Eds car there. Don't know whether he had gone defensive or I plain hit him as he turned in. Whatever it was I clumped him hard  :-[ then waited for him to rejoin which allowed the bottom 3 past. So big apology to Ed.
I lost all interest in racing after that, did a few laps more then quit as my focus had gone.

Lost my racing mojo lately  :'(

On the edge, making mistakes. Having fun. ;D Had a chase with Spanner, positions changed several times, mostly due to mistakes - on both sides. :D Nevertheless it was obvious that the porker is waaaay faster than fezza, Spanner got back on my tail in 60 sec tops after his mistake in which he lost 3 or 4 seconds. Wing 2 and no top speed compared to any other car, engine on 76%, tyres almost 20... Pre-season results indicated I could be competitive in F430, sadly in the season it showed differently. All the same, it was a good, interesting season, congrats to Apex for the win and all for participating. Hope we go to S19 soon. :)

Rather uneventful race for me. Not on the pace of the top 3 but able to just about keep out of TT and Spanner's battle. Although they were close to catching me at times.

Congratulations to Apex on a fine result last night and an impressive championship win. Congrats Legzy and Pete on the podums. Well done TT for getting good results with the Ferrari despite its lack of power.

I've enjoyed this season. - some good races and tracks. Thanks H@l for organising and all for taking part.

Forgot to mention - another championship for Supersonic Racing.  :)

Big congrats to ApexUSA for winning the championship, you were on fire this season and put in a dominating display at every round. :notworthy: Congrats also to TT for finishing 2nd  :)
Also, well done Supersonic Team on winning the teams Championship and big yay for Legends finishing 2nd  :euro:

Cool set of tracks (except this one  ;) ) and enjoyed most of the races, so big thanks to H@L for organising once again  :thumbup1:

That was enjoyeable if rather frustrating at times! Certainly wasnt expecting to qually in 5th so was happy there but in the race nsfast seemed to be taking it rather leisurely but i just couldnt get past. But sitting there then allowed TT and then H@L past and then we all seemed to fall off at some stage.  I clearly had the quicker car, able to close back up to TT easily but it was only at the end of the straights that had a chance if i managed to stick to his bootlid coming on to the straight. I lost my focus completely when i saw TT spear off before the last corner and hit the wall and fly into the air, and so i almost ended up in the gravel at the last corner but then saw TT just drive past, as i sat there open-mouthed, surprised!

Brilliant race, shame the seasons over, i was just getting into it and its finished! >:(

Pre-season results indicated I could be competitive in F430, sadly in the season it showed differently.
Second in the championship with one win, twice runner up & two third place finishes... I only wish I could be as uncompetitive as you TT ;)

That said, the F430 was “equalised” for the endurance races we were doing at the time, now we only do sprints, I would suggest we look at possibly a new physics pack sometime soon. I’d be happy to help you with that if you’re interested H@L?

You're right, Legzy, races do seem to be too short to show F430 its stronger face in tyre wear and fuel consumption. Weather, too, is one of the stronger sides of it and all that is just a memory. ;)
Well, hats off to H@l who's been able to get together more than average amount of drivers for these races. :)

Well I had an extremely entertaining race, the perfect track for this monster of a car (i.e. lots of long straights & not many turns)
Got pole for possibly my 1st GTR2 event ever (I think I’ve only had class poles before), so a nervous leading out of the warm up lap...
Was a very interesting race, as Apex was so fast through the middle section (the only one with more bends than straights), if he could get close enough through that then he could draft me along the straights, adding more pressure on the next lap & then the next etc etc. If I ever managed to shake him, he’d soon be right back on my tail & was blatantly quicker than me.
Eventually my driving at the max of my ability caught up, & I span my Panoz & he was through. Then I span it again, trying to get back immediately & so Picnic was through :(
Over 6 seconds behind leader Apex now, I really got my head down; past Pete’s also speedy BMW & then started clocking up fastest lap after fastest lap. I was soon back within striking distance of a win (I’m sure partly as Apex would have been driving for championship points rather than a madman seeking a one off race win like I was) with a couple of laps to go. It would be plenty.
Well it would have been plenty if I wasn’t pushing it so hard & once again lost the back end in a corner... Still pleased with 2nd

Very much enjoyed that season, great to see a slightly larger average grid every week too. I’m sure H@L will slickly have the next season rolling in anyday? ;)

Agree with everything others said. Well done Apex and the other podium finishers. Thanks to H@L for organising all this and thanks to all the drivers who've turned up and made the grids a decent size again :)

still think we could tempt a few more drivers in from No-grip etc so maybe when the next season gets announced I will knock up some race adverts for posting over there, as it worked well in boosting P&G numbers this season  :)

Would be very nice to use some new cars/carsets too. I think the NAGP ones are freely available for download and even the GTW guys might be happy to let us use their old carsets ?
