Any ideas? ;)
Edit: @H@l: U19LS Charade ended a bit early, should have been one more lap. When I crossed the line it was less than one minute left to the 40 min. Just something to consider. ;) Title: Re: UKGTR Season 19 Upper Sprint - Charade - Jan 26 Post by: Quicksilver384 on January 24, 2014, 09:07:12 PM +0000 Hey guys my hours have been changed at work as such i will not be able to race much now i will participate where possable.

Any ideas? ;) It name begins with a "Marco..." & ends with a frightening engine ROAR!!! ;)It's always great to @H@l: U19LS Charade ended a bit early, should have been one more lap. When I crossed the line it was less than one minute left to the 40 min. Just something to consider. ;) Yeah it did finish short last week, lap count races are the future :whistling:Title: Re: UKGTR Season 19 Upper Sprint - Charade - Jan 26 Post by: Truetom on January 26, 2014, 06:01:33 PM +0000 Heh, no, I'm not taking Marcos this season. :-*
Title: Re: UKGTR Season 19 Upper Sprint - Charade - Jan 26 Post by: Legzy on January 26, 2014, 09:35:29 PM +0000 Well that couldn't have gone a whole lot better really >:(
Well done, great driving guys :notworthy: I guess I'll just have to settle for the cheeky win ;D at what is rapidly becoming my most fruitful track (I love it in PnG!) Brilliant opening 20 minutes. I was nailed on TT's bumper, with no chance of getting past (though I did manage to get level a couple of times). Meanwhile Apex was nailed on my bumper & did get past me :o Thankfully I was able to get close enough to pass back on the following lap & hold it while again trying to pressure TT. A lap earlier that planned, I knew the only way past TT was going to be to utilize the now world famous Oldie Pit crew to try to do him in the pits or at least come out right behind him but with warmed up tyres vs his cold ones.... Just did it. As TT lifted the pit limiter I zoomed past on the inside & immediately held a 2sec advantage. It stayed like that for a few laps, but I guess TT must have been pushing too hard & fell off. Apex spend the rest of the race closing the gap, but I had enough this time (helped by the race ending with 3 mins still on the clock ::)) despite suffering a few too many slides & wobbles towards the end with pretty badly worn Meds (Note to self: try hards next time, at least on the back). Congrats all that came. Title: Re: UKGTR Season 19 Upper Sprint - Charade - Jan 26 Post by: Truetom on January 27, 2014, 12:20:40 PM +0000 Not much to add to Legzys post. After a sneaky pit-pass ;) I pushed hard as I had the same problem he had before - a track where passing is hard. 1st mistake in Marlboro corner: 5 seconds; came a bit closer - 2nd mistake in Marlboro corner: Apex got past; pushed hard, 3rd mistake in Marlboro corner: gave up. ::) Just cruised to the end and took 3rd place. Hopefully the car was a bit too hard set for this track. If the next one goes bad, then we'll see.
P.S. Race again ended early, 3 minutes + this time. So, no, 42 minutes didn't help. Please set the length in laps, H@l. If you need help testing of how many laps, just yell. :-* Title: Re: UKGTR Season 19 Upper Sprint - Charade - Jan 26 Post by: H@L9000 on January 27, 2014, 02:40:23 PM +0000 RESULTS (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=LM2R&group=439&theme=3) AND REPLAY (https://replay.simracing.org.uk/) NOW UPLOADED
