I am now in with Elises, so am prepared for a good sound beating.. Still, you never know.  :tank:

How exactly are the Minis expected to compete with the other three?

It stops them getting in the way.   ::)

Ah, I get it. The Italians are supposed to drive them to give everyone else a chance. A sort of SROUK "Italian Job" :)

Chortle

The minis porbably are not as fast, but my (granted wonky)  testing says the 911 is only a few tenths faster than the Britax mini here.

Great combo Matt, love that fencegate- turn  :thumbup1:

Unfortunately I can't make this race either, actually I wont be able to join a race for the next month or so

The good news is, I'm off to Califonia next thursday for a holliday. Looking forward to a stroll down Highway 1 in the rented Mustang Convertible  ;D

That's a shame, Stig works hard for SBRC and will be sorely missed.

Enjoy your break Stig.

Hiho, fellas!  :)

I may look to make my debut with UKPnG tomorrow @ Aintree.  I've dl'd the circuit and tried an Alfa(the keen McLaren 'papaya' job, #42)on for size.  Quite fun.

Anything I need to be brought up to speed on?  Don't think so but one never can be too sure.

Look for an entry name of "Provocateur'.

Hi Doni and welcome.

Just make sure that you can join the practice server at some point today (usual pw) and then make sure that you have the race pw for tonight.

At least it's flat!

Make sure that you stop for trains at the level crossings.

I could easily lose interest in this.

I was sat waiting to join the grid when the thing decided that I was disqualified.

At least I can do some thing useful for the rest of the evening!

Well, on this pc the secondary HD decided to quit on me during praccy and after rebooting telling me it was not there anymore! Opened up the PC, fiddeled with the wires and fired it up again. Up and running but race already under way. Crap..

Balderdash!  ::) I only had to bring it home for 3 more laps and secure a nice cosy 4th place, but no I had to chase Ed for all my worth and promptly stuffed it into that rocky outcrop at the majestic sweeping turn 1...the corner I enjoyed the most on the whole lap  :o

Good fun race upto that sad ending. First 10 laps chasing Frex hard for 3rd, then Ed fell off and I was third for several laps until I span at the same corner as Ed, handing it back to Ed, who I then chased hard until my demise on lap 17.

Crappy turn out again, why is everyone not bothering now  >:( This is one of the better groupings of cars too for close racing.

Unlucky Clive with the DQ, did you try and join the grid too early?

Well done whoever won and the podium, nice track that  :)

Replay and results now posted.

Doni, could not find your racing name in the LM2 listings so used your known lobby name instead.

Fun race and interesting track. Would have been more fun if Ed had not spun out, and/or if he could have held up John just a little longer so that maybe I could have caught him. Once he was away in front though it was a (losing) battle to keep up..

Congrats John, and Ed for P3. Cyu next time.

Some good fun in my debut with UKPnG!  I really enjoyed the outing and will look to enter more if time permits.

Grats to johnw on the win!  Fine jobs by both frex and Animal Ed on sweeping the podium.

I had some real dicing action with ol' mate, Evil.  We seemed well-matched in the GTA's.

Got a bit of a surprise in the late going as johnw lapped me on the back straight.  Didn't see him coming!  YIKES!  My thanks to the blue flagger.  :)

Not being a contender in the series championship, I eased off on the last lap to allow Evil and Alex to pass for the points.

Clive: The handle of 'Provocateur' is a hold-over from my days in GTLand.  I'll create a new personna for any subsequent rounds.  Probably something along the lines of 'Doni3p1'.

I am moonlighting at PnG to get my fix of simracing, as current domestic upheaval means that GPL nights are often not available.

Hehe! I was enjoying our dice Doni.   Well, I was until I lost the ability to drive that flippin' Alfa and churned up more grass than a broken plough!!!

Very gentlemanly of you to allow me past in the final laps  ;) I wondered what was wrong with your car!!!

Grats to JW, Frex and Animal Ed + Jarda, they were all in a different race as far as lap times went.  :-\

Hmm.......Don't think so but then I wasn't aware that there was a "too early" or an associated DQ!

I was intent on getting to the grid quickly as I had identified that the Ford engine was a tad on the fragile side and I wanted to make sure that I had time to swap it if they gave me a dud!
