H@L, the race length is set to time instead of laps.......

Also is there any chance of shifting the Silverstone GT1 final to the week after the 21st September as I cant race that night

regards

SRW, I wouldn't worry about missing a race, that is a perfect example why in UKGTR2 we have one drop week in the championship. It covers for losing connection/unavailability/bad luck mid-race etc etc. (though obviously you do miss out on a great nights racing)

@legzy

Missing out on racing GT1's at Silverstone was the main reason  :)

Will try it out today. :)

Edit: I remember now, we drove here once. We'll see how GT1s cope with it.

tough track to get to grips with in just the dieing minutes of practise & continuing through qually :(

I'll certainly settle for 4th after an enjoyable 1st half on the rear bumper of SRW & then a 2nd half of watching Pete stay in the distance as I failed to reel him in

exciting race, was looking good for 3rd or 4th, then messed up on the last corner on lap 14 and ran wide then ended up slewing across the track when rejoining and almost hitting the pitwall. I then lost about 9 seconds reversing and rejoining the track and dropped to 5th :(

@hal, shouldn't this race have been 19 or 20 laps (to hit the 40 min mark)?

That was a tough race, an exciting setup making the car difficult for a lot of the lap but the gearing out of the slow corners was obviously wrong when Truetom sped passed, either that or he has a secret push to pass button.

Caught a little bit by surprise with SRW's splash and dash that meant he jumped me in the pit stops. I didn't think I was going to get past before the end of the race but luckily my fresher rubber did pay dividends by letting me get along side through the last corner well over exuberance cost SRW. I was still concerned that late on Legzy would know the track and would reel me in. For a change that didn't happen and I'm happy to pick up a fairly rare podium.

Thanks to all who raced, 15 laps was enough for me in the heat this week ;)

Sorry to say, no magic button, Pete. :-\  I just let slide the rear end and 80% power lock did the same. ;)
Messed up first corner after pitting, so came out third and had to work all over it again. I think - at least Pete and Apex - set the car too understeary and couldn't make a good turn-in. Good chase, though. :)
