Fine selection in RL they may be but I don't get on at all well with any of these cars in PnG.  :(

Looks like a porkfest to me as the BMW's tyres are vaporised after two laps and the Panty is its usual truculent self!

True, as he usually manages to miss the Pork fests, no doubt gadding with his Continental missus.  :whistling:

Oh, and I am here this Thursday now, will be away for the next 3 at least.

I'm not believing Clive's waffle about the beemers being un-competitive  ;)...since when?!  Run less aggressive cambers if your tyres are cooking.  :P

Really hope to be there this week but real life is really kicking me while I'm down at the moment  :'( so even If I do make it I won't have been able to do any praccy. Mind you, driven my own old pork around Brands enough to know it intimately....you'd think.

Getting quicker each lap.

What more can you ask?

I can ask "What car are you getting faster in"? and what times are you getting?
I haven't turned a wheel here since initial testing weeks ago.
If no one steps up to do the admin for next week's event I will have to depend on
drivers moving the race on manually.

I found the BMW fastest but not for long enough and I saw Giuseppe doing a 1:33.9 in the 911 during P1.

That probably puts pole at a low 33 but Otto did appear in the fast BMW just as I had to leave the server on Tuesday.  That combo could be in the 32s or below.

John's lap record in the Porsche is 1.33.4.

I'm a second slower than that in the BMW Faltz.

Nice combo, although Brands is a great track in any car imho..

Was quite close in laptime to Clive and Postal, but usually too far away from either for some really close racing, which was a shame.

First part of the race trying to maintain the gap to Postal, but then went wide at Hawthorn and got into a tankslapper coming back on track, ending up in the gravel. Postal gifted me the place back though later on when he had a spin of his own. Last few laps were a struggle with no tyres left and Clive was catching me, but not quickly enough to be a threat.

And the second race in a row I've been gifted a podium by some Italians giving me their places..!  ??? :)

Fun race again, congrats to Federico and Geoffers.

Good result, but a fairly lonely race.

Rubbish start again, fortunately only Frex got past me. Extra power & a flash of the lights from Frex got me into 4th early on & that is where I expected to finish as the gaps to the Italian Porsches ahead & Frex & Postal's BMWs behind both kept growing. Luckily inherited 2nd when Giuseppe & Otto both went out about the same time (collision?).

Congrats to Federico for the win & Frex in 3rd.

LOL

Not from where I was!

Geoffers made his signature sluggish get away and I was able to briefly nip between frex and his BMWs but then the BMW grunt took over and whilst I was trying not to hit Geoffers , frex stormed up the inside into Paddock.

Just to add insult to injury, another BMW nabbed me on the way to Druids.

I was trying to bother the third BMW going into Graham Hill Bend but was caught out by his braking, which resulted in my giving him a tap that sent him towards the grass on the inside.

I pulled to the outside of the corner and waited for him to recover but when I realised that I was bog last I restarted my race.  I think that I probably propelled him clean across the inside of the corner.

Then I had fun catching and passing people, which I have to admit is a hell of a lot more fun than being caught and passed.   ;D

The best bit was frightening people off at Paddock.

Frex almost fell back into my clutches but not quite and Postal, after his grassy moment, was catching me at the end but not by enough.

The best of my tyres went in fighting my way back through the pack and my lap times towards the end were awful.

Sorry to whoever I punted off and congrats to Federico, Geoffers and frex.

Twenty minutes after the race, my pc stopped working.  When I investigated, I found that the plastic frame that holds the cpu cooler to the mother board had snapped and that the heat sink and fan were dangling in mid-air, cradled by the power supply harness!  I'm in the process of trying to fix it but if the cpu has suffered damage then that might be the end of my season as an upgrade will not be immediate.

Gosh...  Sorry to learn of your loss, Mark.  Sincere condolences.

I'm of an age where my relatives are starting to thin all to frequently.  It has one thing of note.  It makes you appreciate them that much more and puts other things into perspective.
