cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules (https://www.simracing.org.uk/index.php?pid=7) especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Power and Glory v3.1 from:  http://www.gtlw.co.uk
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

You can thank Jester for this one. Erik tested at least 20 cars here and It's a great track and am keen to run it.
The track is new to me, and probably many others. It took me 30 mins at least before I had an idea what was
coming next, it's no Green Hell, but does take some learning. Please test for graphics jitters.
I ran several laps with Frame count on, (Ctrl F) and was well over 100 most of the lap, as high as 145
at times, but dropped to 85 just after the chip shop.

The circuit builder must have spent six months solid on mobile cranes!

Enjoying the drive through the Belgian countryside but I haven't tried to go fast yet.

I like the marker boards to tell you which way the next corner goes and you can probably see the brake marker boards from outer space.  Makes a nice change after Albi!

Friday night we tried the track and it is very very nice  :thumbup2: no curbs to jump like crazy and were put in the right places poles, tires and haystacks hard as steel
With the bouncy castle I was fine as always, the Falcon is nice to drive, very powerful but loses too much in the corners and under heavy braking and the Escort did not have time to try it  ::)
The lap times with the GTAM2000 are about 2.05/06 with Falcon 2.07/08.

2.05 laps? Yakk, you guys are sick fast :scared: :alien: I can't get below 2.09 !

Where did all the less talented drivers go? There where times, when commoners used to join these races.
I miss those drivers who aren't 4 seconds faster that me.

COME BACK guys, you hear!    ;D ;D ;D

I understand Stig, we in the Team7 we are not particularly talented, more than anything else we are very passionate about cars and simulators, and probably we train more than many others  ::)
This is our hobby for many years and we try to bring out the best of the fun of it  :punk:
I also wanted to say that we have participated in championships in which to think it was a dream to get on the podium, let alone win
We are sad that lately there are a few drivers on the track and we absolutely do not want to be the cause.
However, I will speak with Otto and Fede and decide what to do.

Don't think that you can blame Team7 for the demise of the grids.  From what I can see, most of the drivers that Stig is looking for have migrated to GTL and now it appears that there will be still more going to AC, although at the minute, from what I have read, it still seems to be difficult/inflexible to join a race.

PnG v3 was a monster of a job, and was/is very well done, but took so long to produce that the racers wandered off and found other sims and that is where we are.

The only sim that seems to carry on regardless is GPL!

"However, I will speak with Otto and Fede and decide what to do."

Don't do anything, race on PLEASE. It's a pleasure to watch you guys perform and compete.

I just need to practice more, that always helps, no matter what  ;D.

As a matter of fact, some more practice today got me just below 2.08 in the Alfa.

CU Thursday

Why is it that some cars have a glass engine and others don't?

Just to say hello and explain why I'm skipping races ...

Nothing to do with you from team 7 or any other racer here, nothing to do with car/track combos ... one of my hdd`s died and I can`t find my gtr2 box with online s/n.

Only 2 places left for searching so, hopefully, I'll be back when I find it or buy game again on steam ...

I've noticed that the FVA engine has N/A against its maximium revs.  Guess it doesn't have a limiter and can rev 'til it busts?

Well, many thanks to Erik for that little gem.

Congrats to Federico and Happy Birthday to Burt.

I had the help of two good setup gurus, Erik and Giuseppe, to finish up with something that let me play a tad nearer the sharp end than usual.  There was even a danger that I might end up with pole until Federico pulled one out of the bag in the last few minutes.  I thought that a 2:03.7 would have been enough, as I hadn't seen a 2:03 from anyone so I guess that Fed dug deep for that one.  Grats.

I wasn't convinced that the qually setup would last a complete race, engine wise, so I went a click longer for my race setup.  I had done a 2:04 with it on race fuel in practice but in the race I couldn't quite find the sweet spot.

Federico made a good start and was not headed all race.  Giuseppe passed me after a couple of laps and for a while I thought that he was going to catch Federico and that that would let me sneak up on them whilst they knocked lumps out of each other.  But that didn't happen.  After an initial gain, Giuseppe seemed to be falling back towards me and Federico was still in sight too.

As I caught Giuseppe at the second sharp corner, he made a mistake on corner exit and seemed to find a very resilient fence post that attacked his Alfa with some purpose!

That left me second and after a while it appeared that Federico was coming back into range.  :)

The real puzzle, was that whilst Federico was presumably running out of tyres in his Alfa, Geoffers was closing in on me at a rate of knots in his Alfa!  What he was using for rubber will be interesting to find out!

By the end of the last lap I was on Federico's bumper but still second.  I had suffered a spot of brain fade a few laps from the end which probably lost me the chance to have a proper go at taking the lead.  >:(

Still a good gallop and it's just as well as I shall be missing from next week's grid on account of it being our wedding anniversary.

Many thanks to Erik for turning out and gaining us some much needed points.  How you fixed next week mate?  ;D

PS  I'm sure it said that my Escort was Group 5?  And it's '68 so unlikely to be in the 70s group.

Well I was the only one using an Autodelta Alfa, everyone else used the slightly more powerful Mouchous one. I guess it had different tyres. I used the softest tyres available, which appeared to last the distance at this track, I usually have to use the harder ones on the front.

Just a shame I did my usual trick of having a spin in the early laps otherwise it could have been even closer at the finish. Was really surprised I pulled back all the time I lost on lap 2 & even set fastest lap!

Congrats to Fed & Clive  , shame we didn't have a bigger turnout for this excellent track.
