Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None.

Hi all

Pit Limiter not working for masser 5.7
Save way to do it: 1st gear, 3000 RPM, not more!

Yep, seems the pit limiter fails to function for both Massers. Keep below 40Kph would be my advice.

Hello Guys, any benchmark timing for the Track ?
Hmm depends which car you take on a long fast track like this one. And it's endurance not sprint so lap times seem less important.

Well that was strange ... was going ok on the first half of lap 1, was sandwiched between Ati and Ziu, changed down into 4th and engine died !  Changed into 3rd and engine was running again !  Back into 4th and dead engine ... down into 3rd and engine running but missed corner and CRUNCH: dnf  ???

I managed to join for this one although I thought I would have to miss it.

I messed up my two qualifying laps so decided to start near the back. I was surprised to qualify eight but even my best practice lap in the 3:56’s would not have improved my grid position.

I decided to be cautious and hopefully benefit from any carnage that might occur. I was trying to get into a rhythm and put in some steady laps but on lap two got a tap from Clive on a right-hand bend that sent me flying off the track. After about half a minute of tumbling though the air I realised that I must have left the earth’s atmosphere and was now in space, so I quit.

Ah well, the best laid plans…. Thought I had a good pit stop strategy, now I will never know.

Grats to winner and podiums.

Sorry Misnomis  :(  You really caught me out at Masta, but entirely my fault as I was the car behind..  :-\

Still screwed up the pitstop...had been planning to just do fuel as the tyres looked like they might just last the race...but that's what Vettel thought!!  ::)

Also managed to screw up Pitstop, despite two practice stops in the morning. Second enduro here that I've run out of fuel. ::)

Good bit, new PBs!

Smooth but sole endurance race at the back of the pack for me - love this track (one of my all time favs)
and the cars too. Tried the small Maser but found that the DB2 is easier to handle on this track.
Couldn't match my personal best (3:57) but that doesn't matter.

Made my pit stop after lap 8 with 3 l left in the tank  ::), so I tried to save fuel during the second half of the race
as it was clear in a very early stage that I would fnish in last or penultimate place - but 5th after all.

Great fun - thanks for organizing to all involved.

Very disappointing to go out without completing at least one lap. This circuit always catches me out so huge respect to all those who managed to see the chequered flag. Strange to see so many regulars missing from this one. Hopefully they will all return for the next round. BTW it was a real treat to watch the race and see those great cars being so well driven  :thumbup1:

Not a problem. ;) So it was a black hole I got sucked into. :scared:

I was going to skip a tyre change also.  ::)

Glad i made this one great cars and great track, my set up and way i was cornering soon put rear left tire into the yellow, apart from that car drove well, crawled down pit lane then forgot how much fuel so filled to max, all in all an enjoyable race.

Grats to Coyote on win
Grats to Podium

Love this track with a fast car, and the big Maserati was a joy to drive here.

Regrettably I couldn't match my offline pb in qual. It would have landed me pole - just  :)  Instead I was 1.1 sec down and 5th on the grid.  Remarkable how close the first 5 cars were, considering it's 3:50-ish laptimes.

Lost and gained places on the first hectic lap, so still in 5th when it ended.  Chased after Roger for most of the first half.  Gap seesawed a bit, but I couldn't mount a challenge.  5th became 3rd when we both passed Ziu going into the pits, and Ati seemingly waiting in vain for him after a contact.  Later that lap, Roger ran wide onto the shoulder, which allowed me to zip past.

Pit at the end of lap 8, in 2nd behind Bob. Fuel only and exit pits ahead of him, now in 3rd.  Next lap that was converted to 1st, when cars ahead of me did their pitstop. Concentrated hard on being smooth on my worn tyres.  Had a 5-6 sec gap to Bob, which held to the finish line.

Surprised and obviously very chuffed with a win, and with having made the most of my precious last Maserati drive; will be missing it!

Sad to see so many retire prematurely, so congrats to all who made it to the finish.

Cheers,
Erling

Tony, I wanted to vote for this track, but can't seem to do it.  Only option is to remove an earlier vote.  Can't remember how I did that vote.  I am logged in of course, so what could I be missing ?

I think your previous vote tracks are shown in bold. Yes you do have to remove the previous vote and then do them all over again. Let me know if I'm wrong?
