Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules (https://www.simracing.org.uk/index.php?pid=7) especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Power and Glory v3.1 from:  http://www.gtlw.co.uk
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Couldn't see a server this evening.   :(

And I'm guessing at, say, 25 laps?

EDIT:  Wrong again! 26

I'm at 34.5 practice/race fuel, 33.5 qually/race fuel in the Daytona. Is this OK or am I in the wrong car again?

Clearly you're in the wrong car, Simon.  Those times are much too fast.

Not sure who it was that I launched into hyperspace after 2 laps  :(

I was on Simon's tail exiting the second hairpin when he suddenly jinked left, just as I was unleashing the 427 horses under my bonnet. Unfortunately about 0.1 secs later I realised just why Simon had moved sharply to his left......there was a red Porker stationary, across the track  :o  :o :o :o :scared: :scared: I think it was Geoffers? Hope the headache clears soon my friend, coz that was a heck of a wallop!!!

My car was never quite the same after that and I struggled to keep it on the tarmac at anything approaching racing speed, so after several excursions and spins I parked it and walked home.

Off to sunny Barnsley tomorrow for a whole week, so I will miss next weeks fun as well. Cyall after Easter.

Re the nifty chart at the top of the page listing the finishing order, can we have my 'Retirement reason' changed to 'MURDERED'?  Thanks.

My apologies to frex for finishing off his race after my gymnastic exercise on the dune banking in the early stages of the race :'( . Unexpectedly, my 275 GTB landed on its wheels after the multiple body rolls and I waited for frex to rejoin, but I suspect terminal damage had been done to his Elan, I’m sorry pal.

I decided to continue the race as it’s my home circuit and to see if the 275 Speciale could actually finish a race without overheating or eating its tires. Well, it was possible, but without any further dicing it was a lonely race.

Hope to do better next race!

No probs Swifty. I should have stuck to my usual tactic which is if you see a see a car in trouble up ahead just aim for it, and by the time you get there it's hopefully moved out of the way..! The track is quite narrow too, which didn't help.

The few laps I had were great fun though, shame it was cut short, but no worries.

Congrats to podium.

No wasn't me, I was in an orange Porker & was already off the track at the first hairpin (Tarzan). I think three of us were all trying to get into T1 at the same time & being on the outside I got bumped wide onto the dirt & span back across the track. Well done to all that took evasive action & missed me .
Rest of the race was playing catch up, eventually passing Clive a couple of laps from the end for 5th place & nearly pipping Matt for 4th on the line, 0.05s in it at the end!

Congrats to John, Dan & Legzy.

Click HERE (http://www.planet-venom.co.uk/PnG/Zand67Rep/index.html) for Analyser Report

Boy was I in the wrong car!

OK for the likes of John but it was way beyond me.  I might have managed 3rd had I not dabbed a foot on the curb on the approach to the hairpin.  The next thing I knew, I was fighting to stop it climbing the bank and when Legzy and Matt arrived I was facing the wrong way!

Another error let Geoffers through and then trying to stay close to him at the end of the lap I found myself back on the grass!

@Geoffers  The server says that Matt pipped you to 4th.

Grats to John, Dan and Legzy.  Hopefully that's the end of the series of races where I park myself in front of the latter.

:-[ I made a good start and was up to 3rd by the end of the first lap, then I went wide onto the straight and my 3rd became 5th.

I was making a reasonable job of keeping my bruvver in sight whilst fending off a 914 when, just after half distance, I was heading through the dunes and wallop!, someone appeared from stage right and crashed into me. After the resulting bounce along the barriers my Daytona was all bent and wonky. It would only turn right in a massive slide!! I tried to do battle with a 911 for a while but eventually my hump backed heap got away from me down into turn 1 and that was me over the fence. Engine was still showing 99% so I tried to find a way back onto the track but I couldn't find a hole in the hedge. Eventually I gave in and stormed off to my motor home. >:( >:( :'(

I've just been informed of the moderation for the collision I endured leading to my instant retirement.  Fine.

You now have one less entrant in your series if you people are as blind and a dopey as that.   :cursing:
