cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.

rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Power and Glory v3.1 from:  http://www.gtlw.co.uk
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Thanks Matt, yours worked.

I had also downloaded the 88 version from Nogrip.  Is it the same?

The big Cobra is loads of fun but then, nobody has rubbed my nose in the fact that I'm way too slow in it yet!

Simon and I were on the backup server last night and it was doing strange things.

At one point we both lost sight of the other car and when I went on board with Simon's car it was freezing for a second as it crossed the start-finish line.

Then, near the end of practice, his car froze completely and he was stuck in there.

Why were you using the backup server? Was our one not working?

Well, it is on my domestic net, so it will be affected by what I am doing if I am home.
I was downloading RaceROom, and a new version of ELite, so that may have caused some issues
on race night I am either racing myself or not using it at all.

Give in!

'cos Simon was in that one and it seemed petty to ignore him and join another server.   ;D

The SROUK server was working just fine and we transferred to that one.

Sorry Federico, hope I didn't cause any damage :( If I did, then shall demand that the results be reversed!

Great combo by the way, Matt. Big cars, old Silverstone - superb :thumbup1:

Results and Replay Posted

I was enjoying that one  8) had some fun dicing with Frex and Swifty for a while, but the tyres started going off
and I fell off a couple of times, got going but then went off with damage, the car was not wanting to turn left
so quit out. Shame as John said , it was a good combo. Bear in mind guys, this series is pre defined tracks
from F1 1967 season.

Apologies for my absence again. My arm problem has cleared up now, but after my enforced layoff I can't  summon up any enthusiasm for racing again, other things to do this time of year which seem more appealing.

Congratulations to John and Federico.

A somewhat better start for me than at Dijon but nothing to write home about.
I passed John off the line but Federico was still in front and I knew that if I didn't get in front on the first lap then I would just have to wave bye-bye.

I nearly rammed him at Becketts and was hard on his heels as we hit Hanger Straight.  I ducked out of the slipstream.............. and he pulled away!! ???

What was more, John had sorted out his differences with SS in the Ferrari and was showing prodigious speed on the straight.  So having gone into Stowe on a tight line, whilst having a go at Federico, it gave John the chance to take a wider line and we came out of Stowe level.  I could see that my chance of doing anything with Federico was spent and so I lifted to let John have a clear run into Club.

I was a tad cautious at Abbey and as a result SS in his Ferrari had a lunge down the inside into the Bridge Chicane.  I saw it coming and gave him the room and was surprised that he kept it on the grey bit!  Which was more than John and Federico had managed ahead of us.

So now I was fourth, with Simon sniffing about behind me.  :(

At the end of lap two, I made a better job of Abbey and was able to put SS under pressure at Bridge.  His exit from the chicane wasn't good and so I was able to pass him on the start/finish straight.  Just!!  I was on the left going into Club and on past performance, fully expected to see his unpainted Ferrari come barrelling up the inside. Well, you could have knocked me down with a feather when Simon's big red bus shot across my bows an headed for the gravel!

That was it, more or less.  At just before half distance I had about a sixteen second lead over Simon when I made a stupid mistake at Bridge, which suddenly put Simon just three seconds back.

Thankfully, I was able to pull away again but it was a shame that I had made a mess of it as it appeared that Federico had issues towards the end of the race and a second place finish was not have been out of the question.

See you next week.

Hello everyone,
Qualification excellent  ;Dand managed to improve the setup.

Accidentally starting at the light and I am attentive to the first turns to the usual problem on cold tires, once Clive approaches that widen to not be buffered ???.

On the second lap the tires ??? are still cold towards the end of the tour I see myself behind a John comes to great speed.
Brake when entering the turns but Jonh takes me and I end up straight in the gravel :o (no problem John :)) waiting for me and leave again but the car does not seem the same.

Straight on John it passes with no problems (with problems of aerodynamics and suspension) and continuing the race trying to bring home the second place.

Towards mid-race finish in spin!

Eventually I end up in 2 Pos.

Congratulations to John but the Cobra must know how to take to the limit, I tried to drive it, but I did too many mistakes.

Clive thing I told John that the race turned on 1-35-00 with Cobra  ;D!!!

Congratulations to all.
