Title: Re: spa 67 Post by: Cookie on December 27, 2014, 02:29:41 PM +0000 Bernie,
I know you have troubles with SRMZ but try to read here: http://srmz.net/index.php?showtopic=10446 Make the standard install than add the Low-Res textures and Lite-3dos. V2 rasterizer are a must! Do you use rasterizer OGLV2 or D3DV2 in GEM+ ? Title: Re: spa 67 Post by: roguk on December 27, 2014, 05:05:42 PM +0000 1st impression did not think it was GPL, this track is sooo good, standard download worked fine for me in normal fps and 60 fps using 60fpsv1.
Title: Re: spa 67 Post by: maddog on December 28, 2014, 04:29:18 PM +0000 Cookie has offered a test race on the end of Season thread. No replies yet so no knowing if this is of interest. An announcement for an open race at SRMZ, would bring some racers and make the announcer famous. Maybe a few from here would join? 65 lite are not a good framerate tester, but a popular choice. :)
Title: Re: spa 67 Post by: bernie on December 28, 2014, 05:25:46 PM +0000 Axel I use OGLV2 but this has nothing to do with graphics cards , when I said the track wont load I mean I cant get it to load into my GPL at all .
No sign of it in either GEM or GPL "tracks" folder . I have download and run the exe , re named GPL67 thingy , Run GEM etc but its no go Wondering if it might be because my GPL secrets folder is on a seperate drive from GPL ( I have C:/ gplsecrets F:/ for GPL the "old" spa still runs fine . Hope this makes sense ? Title: Re: spa 67 Post by: Cookie on December 28, 2014, 06:14:05 PM +0000 Axel I use OGLV2 but this has nothing to do with graphics cards , when I said the track wont load I mean I cant get it to load into my GPL at all . No problem using different HDDs or partitions. No sign of it in either GEM or GPL "tracks" folder . I have download and run the exe , re named GPL67 thingy (WHY?), Run GEM etc but its no go Wondering if it might be because my GPL secrets folder is on a seperate drive from GPL ( I have C:/ gplsecrets F:/ for GPL the "old" spa still runs fine . Hope this makes sense ? Open the season manager in GEM and push the button "SGEM", with this your SGEM.ini will be updated ;) As this track was not listed before. Then try it, if not yet working, just delete the track folder Spa67 and reinstall it. Title: Re: spa 67 Post by: bernie on December 29, 2014, 10:14:58 PM +0000 :jumpjoy:

Title: Re: spa 67 Post by: Jack O'Ferrall on February 03, 2018, 05:45:42 PM +0000 While this is an old thread, I wanted to join the appreciation for the stunning Spa67 track.
Also, for anyone struggling with similar issues, my major stutters were completely resolved by a switch to Open GL v2. |
