Can't join.  :(

I tried multiple times via iGOR direct, iGOR via GEM and via GPL Multiplayer.  Each time, I get timed out.

Unlucky Doni.  I was timed out once but second time I was in no problem.

Had a decent battle with Fran for a while until I rear ended him at T1.  Sorry Fran.  Then I made a few too many mistakes and he pulled away.  Starting to get better with the right foot braking but sometimes I get confused and get it all wrong  ::)

Thanks for the server and organizing the races Axel.  You've done a brilliant job getting everyone up to speed with the 60fps patch.  Thank you!!!

It didn't occur to me til after the race had started and the opportunity to join in was gone that it was worth trying the other 60fps patches. Hmmm...

For sure, I was initially trying the V1 version.  Just wondering...

Shame Doni  ::)

I do allways have a practice server running a day and the afternoon before a race, maybe you should try it.

Had expected some more drivers...

In the race I built a nice cushion that made a last second stop and go possible, after my engine popped in the last lap, hunting Iestyn...

One curiosity,excluding Tommie, which value of wing have you used?

A new track and the chance to learn it in 1969.  A lonely race, but with new surroundings to keep things interesting.  Towards the end, my fuel tank kept things interesting.  During early exploration, I must've learnt the downhill sections, and not noticed the uphill ones.  A tank top up, allowed 2 wretched rivals to attach to my tail, and they'd obviously kept their downhill sections to last!  Enough rubber remained to throw up the smoke screen needed, to stay ahead.

A question regarding pitstop and go ruling - is it required to stop in a pit box, or anywhere in the pit lane?  Not a big deal in a funrace, but important stuff in a championship.  I always stop where it's possible to run over a rival mechanic. :P

Rules say:

In general, every time a driver has to make a shift-R as a result of their own actions or as a result of mechanical failure then they must perform a Stop and Go in the pit lane.

Ok, my thanks.  And I see nothing to indicate how many mechanics are needed, to gain bonus points?  If zero, I'm wasting my time with them! :taz:

No wing for me either Fran, hence when we were battling I braked too late and flew off the road :laugh:

Eventually I got near the pace, but my it was hard work in a wingless wonder! The amount of off-tracks showed this ;D
