Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules (https://www.simracing.org.uk/index.php?pid=7) especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Power and Glory v3 from:  http://gtlw-blog.flyingpig.info/
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

This is a closely matched set of cars, that I have no setups for, and I always seem to be in the wrong one.

CASC is probably the best all rounder, The Falcon is good at tight tracks, the AATC can be good at fast tracks as it
has more power than most. This is the mountain version so the pit straight is much longer, and power could be
an advantage.

Will miss this one as well, as I am banished to London this week, back in Manchester next week so will be at Zandvoort
I have never been on the track itself, but I have walked around the edges of it once  ;D

HELP!!! I am having trouble running this track on my home server, not that we should need it
but, can someone test that they can connect to the main server ok ?

Federico and I were on there last night if that helps.

The only problem that I was aware of was that he was way too fast!  ::)

Thanks Clive.
I have started shadowing whatever the next P&G or GTL race is on my home server, as there has been
an occasional issue with our proper one. But It won't load this track for some reason, it loads and runs others fine.

I had a frame rate problem when I tried it last night, then recalled that I had it when NG used the track some time ago. Had to turn down the graphic settings to make it run smoothly, probably all the trees that cause the problem.

Very sorry to everyone who hit me at the start of lap 2, especially if it was Legzy as that will make it two weeks on the trot.

I knew that I was only going to get one chance to get past Geoffers and had to take it but then I made a complete Horlicks of T1.

And congratulations to Simon on his first PnG win!

Grats also to Geoffers and Evil.

From memory Clive, I think somebody else hit you & I hit them (I think). Last week there was nothing i could do, this week I felt safe going for the gap & it stayed good right up until it wasn't & I had a knackered suspension at the start of lap two again ::)

Sorry for the little nudge half way round lap one Evil, your car was warping a bit from the start & it was hard to judge exactly where you were & we ended up having a bit of a kiss (don't let the other lads know, they'll all want one ;) ). Anyway, sorry for that.

Shame the turnout was a bit low this week ???

Federico was on the server earlier in the week so I don't know why he wasn't there but whatever the reason it probably took Fulvio as well.  I think that Stig is away at the minute and we didn't hear from MJ at all.

That's true, Stig is in Argentina I think. And I wasn't there either. I will be back for a few weeks it seems
so I can actually do some racing. I got a bit hacked off last year as I was putting in time creating and testing
events, but I was only able to run in a few myself because of work getting in the way of sim racing  :(

No worries about the tap Legzy, but next time lets make it a little less intense and "no tongues" please, as it disturbs my concentration.
Sorry if my Klingon Cloaking device was accidentally engaged. I was aware that warping was happening, but not quite sure if it was me or the server?? Although it improved as the race went on I had a totally random race order showing on my screen, with cars changing from leading to last place and then midfield???!!!?? With a 100mb Broadband connection I was not expecting any issues.

As for the lap 2 , T1 incident, I would like to put my own entirely objective and l version of events   ::)  regarding the crashfest your lordship.
When Mr Loynes, my esteemed team mate ( at least that is what he always claims to be) deliberately and without provocation m'lud, placed his rear wheels upon the immaculately manicured grass so that he could spin his tank of a Corvette around and harpoon the front end of my defenceless and entirely innocent Mustang.
A Mustang, incidentally, that had been orphaned at birth when its parents had been terminated by a software bug when he was only 3 months old and barely out of the showroom He was brought up by an ageing Ford Prefect in a tin garage in Doncaster and had then through dint of sheer hard work, got itself out of the slums and into University.
This outrageous manoeuvre was obviously intended to foreshorten not only my race but my life expectancytoo. It was only by utilising all my race craft and superior car control that damage was mitigated to a few bent suspension parts on my traumatised Mustang and furthermore prevent Mr Loynes' Corvette from being cut in half!
Not satisfied with attempting to inflict mortal wounds upon me he ( Mr Loynes) then persuaded other cars to beat up my now vulnerable car and I was propelled headlong into he armco!!
But, am I disheartened or downhearted? "No" I cry, for did I not finish the race despite Mr Loynes' unprovoked attack. Instead I wupped his ass for the rest of the race!!  whilst allowing him the illusion of keeping pace with me.

Cracking report from Evil, and a fine pole position to boot.

I feel slightly embarrassed to have won considering that almost all of the field were faster than me but hey ho I'll take it  :D

My start was everything I thought it was going to be and I was almost last over the first lap. Then at the start of lap 2 my bruvver destroyed all of the field apart from me and Geoffers. Geoffers then did the noble thing and fell off on the last lap gifting me the win.   Onward and upward  ???

No problem, any time, just don't tell your bruv!  ;)

Congrats on the win.  :thumbup2:
