rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Power and Glory v3 from:  http://gtlw-blog.flyingpig.info/
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

Did a couple of laps in the Escort. First of all had to learn to stay on the track for the whole of a lap.. But not able to get it around the 26 mark, so i will probably try an Alfa tonight. See you all trackside!

Best I could manage in the Escort was a 27.9 and that was if I thrashed it to death

Was enjoying that, but managed to put too much power down too quickly trying to stay ahead of an Escort & a Porka... instead I ended up in the barrier just outside the pits. So retired quietly hoping nobody noticed my embarrassment :'(

Big apologies to Simon for ruining your race, should have quit before I shot back across the track.  :(

Congrats to the eventual podium.

Big apologies to Simon for ruining your race, should have quit before I shot back across the track.  :(

Congrats to the eventual podium.

Your intervention actually improved my race. I was looking at a lonely run to 3rd place before our shunt. My set-up was so "oversteery" that even burying my car into the side of yours at over 120mph didn't change it much. I set about seeing if I could catch anyone and by about lap 22/23 I was up to 4th behind superswift and Clive. I found following Superswifts Alfa closely pretty tricky as we were fast/slow in different places. I was about to make a real attempt to get past SS when he overtook Clive and Clive headed for the pits. Then a lap later SS slowed and I was up to 2nd. Turns out they had both run low on fuel (normally my trick).

Hats off to JW, It's mind boggling not only how fast he can go but what he can go fast in!    respect  :notworthy:

Apology to Dan for the contact - at the time I thought it was just a bad rejoin on your part, but the replay shows it to be more 50:50 than that. Should have waited for you, sorry.

Congrats podium.

Perhaps I should have realised that no sim racing of any sort for a week, and definitely no practice for this car /track combination after a 4 hour drive home was not likely to yield a good result.
I had only been at home for about an hour before the start and it was obvious that I was at least 4 secs off the pace, when I joined the server.

Hopefully in the 2 laps that I circulated I did not compromise anyone's race before I had a reality check and hit the nuke button.  :-\

Grats to all those who avoided me and scored points by finishing.........  maybe next time................... ::)

Click HERE (http://www.planet-venom.co.uk/PnG/ThruxRep/index.html) for Analyser Report

Sorry for the late analyser report but we have been away this weekend.

As for the race, a disaster on many fronts.

I qualified on 4th spot and as expected those in front of me made their usual crabby starts.   :P

The only problem was that I couldn't find a way around Geoffers' Alfa and ended up on the grass, which allowed Simon and Legzy to come past.  Not that Legzy stayed long as the first corner of the complex was his undoing.

When Geoffers binned it and knocked Simon off into the bargain I was second and quite comfortable, thanks to Geoffers help.

I had to fend off a very rapid Frex on one lap but a couple of laps later he did the decent thing and threw himself at the barriers at the chicane.

Then I realised that it wasn't a 26 lap race after all!!  I must start reading the announcements more carefully.

So then my lap times took a hit as I tried to mix driving with mental arithmatic and then transfer this info to XD.

Then I made a complete Horlicks of the intended splas-n-dash.

One to forget really.

Grats to Jonh, Simon and SuperSwift
