The string that is posted in chat when you join should read: "PLP:running version 1.0,3-50-3-True-1.3-0.9-3" - if it doesn't, then you will be excluded from the results.

Any ideas of times, that i'll be nowhere near! lol.

Not sure over the gears, managed to get a good feeling using 5 gears only. But then tried to shorten it all to try all 6gears for quick go but lost the rythm. The shroter gears and extra changes seemed to upset the car a bit too much. Only had a short go mind..

Saw Jeffrey do a 1:13.7 in the BMW and Merc I think, but he'll surely be faster than that. I did a 1:13.3 with the Merc and that's the one I'll take, that way I've taken 3 different cars for 3 different tracks.

Did a 1:12.8 on the official test server. Depending on how the track rubbers in, pole will be faster than that.

I'm only 1:16's race pace too  :-\ not tried light fuel runs yet.

I suspect that's Jester's server ready for next week. Our main server should be set for DTM practice but of course will be AWOL when other events are on.

B'ah race of two halves for me. Great first 12 laps running 6th and closing on Paul? ahead, then my medium tyres drop to 96% and drop off a cliff as they like to say in F1  ::) from then on my laps dropped by 2-3 secs a lap   :'(
I was a sitting target for a catching Goldtop then Ed late on. Don't know what Kunos have done to the medium tyres but lasting 12 laps is rubbish!

Great track and cool cars though  8) and a decent turn out, well done all, nice clean racing from what I saw too  :)

Once you've booked in you can do other stuff, even reboot the PC. No need to sit there waiting for booking to finish and practice to start.

I hope you guys don't mind, but my other AC league is unfortunately closing it's doors so I've advertised what is happening at SRou as an alternative. The other league runs the same ethos as SRou (gentlemanly racing) so hopefully it means we get some more drivers here.

As the other league is closing down I will now be able to attend SRou every week (barring holidays and other personal commitments).

Same boat as Simon (except I've still been attending our races  ;) ). Real shame the other lot are closing down as we had two well attended AC series on the go on Thursday nights, and the racing was fiercely close yet mostly clean.  :(

This looks like a great series. And looking at the results it was a heavily contested race mid-pack. Any chance of a replay on youtube or something??.. :angel:

It is a very good series and I think Jester has posted the replays in an earlier post, don't know how to get them on Utube  but if you have AC then just drop them in the replay folder in My Documents/Assetto Corsa/Replays.  I think that's the way to do it . This Wednesday,GT3's at Monza should be another corker!

Ehhhmm, well yes. I don't have AC (yet). It is very high on my shoppinglist though!

Just a quick query regarding the times. It says GMT, but does it now mean BST? When will booking be open 7:15pm (UK = BST time) or 7:15pm (GMT)?

I was planning on this being a 3-race series, but it does seem to be rather popular. Opinions on extending the series, please?

Car combo is good and works. I wouldn't mind doing different cup races every time, but I can imagine people not wanting to put time into learning a new car every time.
Somebody already suggested a Ferrari cup, which sounded nice ;D

I'm happy either way as long as there is something. Probably a good idea to stick to the same cars to make this at least a 6 round series and re-evaluate before the end of the series as it gives you more time to mull things over.

Yep I'd increase this series by a few more rounds, then run a different cup type series ie Lotus, Ferrari or BMW single make series.  Have always fancied a Ferrari challenge type series, using the f458. The E30 m3 beemers made a good close cup over at Esra. Or if you think you can match up a few different brands to compete closely then that gives people more option to choose a car they favour.

We need to get these race posts up a bit quicker though, especially with newer drivers appearing. Striking while the irons hot!  :) and also not losing half a week of praccy time.

MJ you've got such great ideas why don't you run the championship?

I would like the more lively cars. These cars and the GT3 are pretty on rails, I think cars like the F40 and K-Bow can give a bit more spectacular racing.

I agree with you completely, but I'm in the last 2 weeks of my degree course. This is not my priority at the moment. It will be in a few weeks, and I'll be getting the entire series posted in one go beforehand. But I can't spare as much time to this as I'd like at the moment.

I change jobs in a couple of weeks and am hopeful I will get some of my life back, so will help out where I can with car/track testing/promo etc if I can  :)
