Notes:
(1) Please make sure you are fully aware of the UKGTR Rules (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=3349.0) - especially the speed limiter starting procedure and the rules about in-game chat messages.
(2) Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=LM2R&group=473&theme=3)
(3) You will not be able to join the server without the car physics pack and track (see links above).
(4) Drivers are reminded that they must select ISDN as their bandwidth, otherwise the stability of everyone's connection will be reduced.
(5) Please use the Driver Details (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=profile;sa=driver_info) page to ensure that the league management software has your correct GTR2 'Driving Name' (not necessarily the same as your lobby name).
(6) The server will be set to 26 slots, not 28.

This race will be a Special Evenet race rather than a fun race. Therefore, stats (lap records etc.) from this race will be permanent rather than temporary, as is the case with fun races.

last week I had a problem with GTR2 and ended up reinstalling the game, I then looked through my folder of mods and found GT500 v3.3 & 3.3 update. I installed them both and it seems to work ok, was this correct or should I have installed a basic mod before I installed the 3.3 mod? as the server is not yet up I cannot check if I can get in ok

I have just tried logging on, when I use the usual password I get a 'bad password' message come up. when i use our fun race password i get through but the car selection page has no cars in it. Does this mean i have installed the mod wrong?

Sorry about the password mixup, well spotted. I've now corrected it to be the proper practice password.

I've also connected myself and everything looks ok, I can see cars and join.

It should be SuperGT Mod V3.3 and update version 3.0. Install the mod first (452MB) and the patch after (192 MB).

Hmm, I can't seem to see the password in its usual place!

Just to check, we are using the same version that we have been using or do I have to upgrade?

Doh, my tyres were great till half way, just as I'd finally shaken Apex off my tail so he'd stop being able to draft me. I was thinking about being able to open up the gap now &... a little bit of tyre on a little bit of kerb & I was off & down to 3rd place :'(
From that point on, my tyres were shot & I had little control on the back end :clown:

gutted I missed this race :(. couldn't connect to the server. I think I must have made a mistake while installing the SGT mod..........currently reinstalling GTR2 from scratch to solve the problem

Was a wise move from me to take mediums as it turns out. With no practice, and having large oversteery moments in quali, I followed Legzy's advice. "Softs might last but wear will be high." I took that to say, you'll crash and burn with your level of talent. So mediums it was and I couldn't lap with the pace of the front 2 early on. Then spanner drafted me and was passed. Got him back a lap or 2 later using the draft back and when Legzy had his run in with the kerbs I was well happy with 2nd. But I guess Apex had the softs as well as he was getting quite lose and that enabled me to catch up and eventually to get passed. Funny really, but I enjoyed tonight's race ;)

And only 5 thousands of a second separate Apex, mine and Legy's fastest lap times.

i have reloaded GTR2 and all the updates/patches & addons, works ok off line, so fingers crossed i will be able to race this week.......H@L how about the SGT500's at hungaroring

BTW have you had a chance to test any of the new tracks like Slovakia Ring or Moscow Ring? do you plan on including them in any future series?
