cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules (https://www.simracing.org.uk/index.php?pid=7) especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Power and Glory v3 from:  http://gtlw-blog.flyingpig.info/
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Just realised this makes two Bridges on the same week, as Tony has one on the Monday.
Was not intentional. I might use a different track if people are unhappy with it.

Chortle. Actually I usually try to avoid using the same tracks in the same month as Tony
this time I just thought "Oooh we haven't been to the Bridge for a while"  ::)

Obviously, great minds think alike.  Or something along those lines.  ::)

I don't remember there being this much sand at Bridgehampton!!

I can't get the hang of these monster cars around this place, may as well try to race an aeroplane around someone's kitchen.  ???

I predict not many finishers for this one. Mind you, if Daytona is anything to go by there won't be many starters either  ::)

Testing on the server last night with Federico confirmed that I'm nowhere near quick enough in these beasts!  :-[

I was all set for a long and lonely race to finish 2nd when Federico was slow off the line.  I suspect deliberately.   ::)

So I had a few fun laps trying to keep hime bottled up.  The last thing I had expected was to have to race as well as try to stay on the grey bit and in the end I went off and shot through the dunes, cutting off the Light Bulb.  It said I had to do a SnG, which was a shambles as I had never done one before.

However, my lap through the pit lane didn't register and so I was shown as a lap down.

Then Evil departed, Postal already having left!

Fed then tried to bring me back into play by going through the pits to give me a lap back and then stooging around waiting for me.  I never got there.  :-[

Trying to work out what was going on was too much for my tiny brain and I killed the car against the barrier.

As far as I know, Fed is still in there on his own!

EDIT:  And Matt had run away before the start!

Needed to do some work on my real car, had no setup, and looked like I was to spend a lonely race at the back
based on my rubbish times, so went and jacked the car up before it got dark.

I was DQ'd too, but I did not see a warning ??  I also took the short cut over the dunes.

If I had been truly "evil" I could have taken the lead because Fede and Clive were still negotiating The Lightbulb when I emerged from the shrubbery and hit tarmac at an impressive rate of knots!!
But I waited on the side of the track for them to pass and then rejoined, some 5 seconds behind.

All in all a little frustrating, as I felt that I had the pace in the Falcon to match Clive's pace ( certainly not Fede's 1:42's!! ) but just could not hook up a smooth lap and I knew that I was losing 1-2 secs by being too aggressive.
A shame that the turnout was so small and then further decimated by Matt not starting and Postal throwing in the towel.  3 cars on track after lap 1 and one of those out of touch ( me) is not looking good for the survival of PnG as a viable format.

Maybe it is the summer hols and fine weather that is keeping people away? Just a heads up, that I may not make next week as I am doing the same up in North Wales for a few days so I hope a few more turn out or it will be the   Clive vs  Fede Show??!!  ::)

I'm giving it a couple more events in each series and then I retire if people are not interested in P&G anymore
I am happy to keep things going while it's worthwhile, but it's becoming not worth the effort these days.
Shame as it's a better Sim than GTL but has less variations, so it doesn't have the longevity.

If someone else is interested in taking over then PM me and we'll see what can be done.

It's a shame indeed, if these series are being closed, and I will certainly miss them.

Unfortunately I haven't been able attend the last 3 or 4 races, and I won't be able to do any more races until September because of the summer.

How a bout making it a pause for the summer instead of a full stop Matt?

I shall also be missing throughout July.

And apologies to Federico for not being able to give him some proper opposition.

Also congratulations for being the only UKPnG drive capable of getting beyond half distance.

Hello everyone :),
I did a few laps on Wednesday evening but the pend CASH I quickly found a good control :D.
The qualification and 'went well, but for the race I was not sure of the tire life.

The race begins badly suffered at the light that I could not see the green and left with time ???, skating too Clive and me passing.
I set out in pursuit of Clive on the straight but the falcon was superior. Sorry for knocking but you closed too :-[. After the failure of Clive I got distracted given the low turnout and I comesso a mistake and I went spun immediately after the straight, I made the pits with tire change and expect that to reach me but Clive and 'first came out. Amen ...

I finished the race in solitary :(.

Hello to the next ;D.

I'm not in any hurry to close shop, I will keep posting events for a while.
Not sure about a Summer holiday, could try that perhaps.
