The file is an attachment on the first message, download and install as it is.The string that is posted in chat when you join should read: "PLP:running version 1.2,3-50-3-True-1.3-0.9-3" - if it doesn't, then you will be excluded from the results.

I think it might be a good idea to send out an SRou newsletter to all SRou members via the forum system to make everyone aware of the new AC championship, because if people don't frequent the forums they wouldn't have a clue it's on otherwise and we want numbers to be as high as possible.

Game crashed again for me :( Probably not bother again until another update comes out. Waste of an evening again.

Picnic, do you have Malwarebytes or some other anti-malware running cause since I stopped that before running AC I haven't had a crash again?

Had a great race myself. Only managed to set one lap on softs as I was trying out the race car, so probably could have gone quicker in qually, but was still good enough for second. Chose to put on hards for the race as the Datsun feels like it could chew the tyres up more than the other cars. Not sure it was worth it. I had ok pace first half and then better second half but I reckon mediums would have been fine in hindsight.

Anyway, led to great battle with Erik and I managed to hang on to third at the end as my tyres pace got better.

Really good race last night, had a good chase of Spanner, who was battling ChrisT with the 3 of use all swapping places from about lap 8 ish I think.

Hello I'm nick marks friend ndhiggs. Sorry I didn't realise I had to sign up here before racing but I'm here now. Really enjoyed my first race last night. And hoping to get more envolved in the future

Didnt have much practise here so i chose a familiar car, slapped on a decent setup and off i went.. In practise i used race setup and seemed to be competative and thought i had it in the bag, but then in qually reinhard slapped in a 1'27.7... I cant match the awsome power of that gtr here.. So i ended up qualifying 2nd..

A good start saw me steal 1st place from reinhard and every lap there after was a nose to tail battle for the lead! What i gained in corners was soon destroyed on the straights!! I could be wrong but i think every lap reinhard was between 0.2 and 0.8 seconds behind me lap after lap.. Finishing a whole 0.780 behind!

Was a tough race for me, and i bloody well enjoyed it! Good racing reinhard!! Look forward to the next one.. Hopefully its on a track more suited to my little sls :)

I don't run anything like that. I've just had a look in Event Viewer and it appears the nVidia display driver is the culprit. Looking on the Internet there are quite a few having similar problems with the new drivers. Seems nVidia might have found a problem and a hotfix is imminent. Sadly due to nVidia forever producing drivers that brake the airport lights in P3D I'm limited to which drivers I can use. Hopefully they'll sort me out soon.

Qualied 5th finished 5th. Erik and Simon were close enough in front to keep me interested for most of the race but all I could do was follow until I eventually started to slip out of touch.

Decent turnout for the new season and nice to see some new faces.

 

 :'( I installed latest NVidia driver yesterday, AC went into a loop at practice couldn't get back up and running in time for race. Log files have been sent to AC devs.

In the ancient SMF forum software I run at work for our internal discussions, the newsletter option is:
1) Go to the ADMIN menu (assuming you have access).
2) In the left panels in the MAIN section there is "News & Newsletters".
3) Click the NEWSLETTERS option and then select who you want to send it to (check all) and select "send this to these group using PMs".

It might be that Dave does not give you access to that or he's disabled it, but that's where it is in SMF v1.

Can we have a schedule a but further ahead than a day or two?

Correct, this series will alternate with the BMW cup then another 3-4 race cup.

is this wednesday 8th july again a race with GT3 season1 series?

i am do not 100% understand the actuel series in ukgtr for AC, it looks like 3 different series are now (GT3, GT2 and this bmw235 car), but i do not know when is the races??

each series biweekly? (14 days cycle?), if so, then it looks each wednesday is AC races and each 2nd sunday (the GT2 series), but do not know realy if this is correct?

perhaps someone can tell me this,

You are correct - there is an AC race every Wednesday, with the GT3 series running on alternate weeks with the cups (the BMW is the current one). The races on Sundays alternate between GTR2 and AC, so the AC race on Sunday is every 2 weeks.
