S28 - Friday Trophy - Round 20 - CanAm 71 - Bikernieki

The last track of this season will be Bikernieki 68 - Circuit of Speed.
First in USSR special complex for motosport. Was built in 1965 in the Bikernieki forest in the east of Riga city. Complex include four different couses: "long circuit" (5495 m), "circuit of speed" (3662 m), "circuit of skill" (3580 m) and "small circuit" (1,7 km). Width of "circuit of speed" 10 m, other roads - 8 m and starting zone - 20 m. Some curves has profile with 1,5-14% cross slopes. The relief of road is hilly, with a noticeable height difference.
Racing began in Bikernieki in 1966, prior to 1970 for them were used in two configurations: "circuit of speed" and "circuit of skill".
The "Circuit of speed" was opened in 1968.

Remember: for the LIGHT drivers the most popular car will be dropped for the rest of the season! Look at the bottom!

ONE reset is allowed but the Shift R must be followed by a Stop & Go in the pit lane within TWO laps.
If you Reset on the last lap a 30 second time penalty will be awarded if you cannot s+g before the finish line in the pit lane.

Drivers must complete 50% of the race distance to score.

After 33 laps with some stupid mistakes I could have done some more laps...
Even with this big fat 712! Braking is a matter of a good feeling left foot ;)

Not a happy story to tell.  My graphics card stopped working, so I practiced and raced onboard, in more ways than one, unsuccessfully.  I didn't see an emergency, but there was some unusual emergency chat started by the Moderator.

 ;D , big fun all over. this time no trouble at all. was very pleased with my Porsche...smooth handling..well nothing magic considering how Iestyn Davies did race the 917  ;D

Thanks Nicky, good race from you.  Today I removed the card and have fixed it.  Problem may have been the flood during the recent Interlagos race on July 21. :cursing:
