These should suit this track quite well. I'd best try and get some laps in before tonights race!   :-\

Been on Brands full GP all day 8) so i'm knackered but hopefully still in racing mode  :)

One of the better amateur tracks out there, although I'm not particularly fond of the track itself, it's been done very well.

Very boring race for me after lap 1 when I passed Chris. Didn't race anyone for the remaining 29 laps and that car is not really a hot lapper. Oh well. Well done to Erik on the win and Chris and Frex for the podiums.

Good fun tonight with Chris R. He could've easily run out in the distance, but was kind enough to play with me  ;D He was even nice enough to wait for me after I made a mistake and went off the track.
I would love to do more races with these cars, they are just good fun  :punk:

Ooops, sorry. Could have sworn my timing app said Erik was in 1st at the end. In that case well done Chris. ;D

That was a cracking race tonight, action all the way  8) but a disappointing result considering I had top 5 pace all night. :'(
Qually was fiercely close all session but I bagged 5th in the end  :)

Race start I dropped a place to Srw, but got back ahead to battle with Chris T, which lasted half the race and was great fun and intense with us both swapping places a couple of times. Sadly we banged together side by side and both span around allowing Spanner and another through.
I then had a great battle with Srw and Bob for quite a few laps until we also had a side by side door bang, which we might have got away with except the chasing Srw clattered us both!  I got away with body damage but think bob got nudged onto the grass.
I finally got past Srw again late on then found myself closing rapidly once again on Chris T, this time for 6th. I put late pressure on but he kept cool and I finished an agonising 7th
I was soaked in sweat and worn out at the end but great fun  :) you can race really closely in these cars, good series.

One of the best races yet. On replay I could see the enormous holes i was leaving for MJ which he was able to capitalise on eventually. Then I was able to get the place back from a mistake but then had a coming together which spoilt it a bit. Still one more lap Mark and.....

Just like to explain about XXXnutz who joined us tonight. He has registered, albeit very late in the day, forum name is nutz when admin have processed it. Had a chat with Spanner before the race to get the ok, so hope i haven't got you into trouble Spanner. Nutz said that he was happy to watch the race from the pits but as it happens his qually was half decent so we persuaded him to race.

Cheers Chris

I checked for new registrations when I posted the results but no one has completed the registration since 21/7. No doubt the activation process needs to complete....

Great racing last night, loads of fun. A few close laps with Srw and MarkJ, sorry for the rather novice overtake on last corner Srw, wasn't really on. Like the car, wasn't too keen on the track.

Good to see another new driver join. Wish the abstainees would rejoin the action (looking at you picnic and Tibs  ;) ) as that's two great close races in a row and with a slightly better attendance.

It's a tricky track this one with the off camber corners but it suited these cars well I thought. Sharky had a quiet race because me and Sutol were battling so hard behind him.  :fencing:

See I dropped to 3rd in the table behind super quick Chris R and Erik, but pleased with that after 3 rounds.  :)
Not sure where the next round is as only 3 listed  :-\ Know it's called the Aussie cup but how about doing the next round at a donington if no more Aussie tracks to do. These cars would race well there...or a brands 1.1  8)

These were only going to be 3 race 'cups' as originally stated by Tibs.

Personally i'm not a fan of this car, its too knumb to drive and a bit boring! But surprised at the level of attendance which is good news.

That was jolly nice! The stuttering i experienced before was gone! Turned off all eye candy, 3rd party apps (just Helicorsa) and disengaged the external display to my laptop. Now i could drive it like it should be and i did like the combo. It provides good close and clean racing.

For the race i adjusted front camber and damper settings, but i was still one second of pace, this meant i could see a good group of cars running close in the distance. But nothting i could do and close the gap. Still had some enjoyable battles going on. Congrats to the podium.
I will be on holidays the next weeks. So i will see you all back on track by the end of August.
Cheers

Nice combo but mostly fairly lonely race for me. A little paint exchanged with Simon at T1, but no harm done I think. Lost a place, but got it back into T1 again next time round, then settled down to watch the battle between Erik and ChrisR, which I had a good view of for most of the race.

Congrats to them; thanks to all, cyu next time.

Just thought I'd say hi and thanks for allowing me to race last night, I finally found my activation link to this forum in my junk folder on my other PC (gaming PC don't do email).  I had a good time last night and racing is a different driving discipline for me but I managed to keep it together, only had a moment at the back of the pack with Mark B.....but his fair game LOL.

I normally do late shift at work so not always available for the sessions but if I am around I will always try to jump in and hang at the back of the pack somewhere.

Hi there Nutz. Welcome (at the back of the pack :D) Had a nice scrap for a couple of laps with you. Clean racing and all. See you next time.
