S28 -Tasman Trophy - Round 2 - 67 Formula 2 - AMAROO PARK 96

Due to problems, I made a new race post!


Just for fun and to give the F2's a chance to stretch their legs again we are running a short series based upon the Tasman series that used to run down in the Antipodies. There will be 5 races, all on Aussie or New Zealand circuits, some of which might be new to you but almost all of them are easy to learn. There will be 4 short sprint races of 30 minutes and a 45 minute race to finish up with.
First race is Tuesday 1st September and the plan is to run these races on    Tuesdays and Fridays    for the next couple of weeks.

PLEASE NOTE THE CAR LIMITS FOR THE LIGHT DRIVERS AND EVEN THE HEAVIES HAVE TO PLAN, AS THEY CAN ONLY USE CARS ONCE....  If this proves exceptionally popular and the next season's preparations are not quite ready we might add more races........

Amaroo 96  ( make sure you get the correct version, the early one caused many discos!)
Lakeside
Levin
Either Bathurst ( Mt Panorama) or Adelaide

Each driver has 2 resets, but must do an SnG in the pits for each one...If you are clever enough to do 2 resets in one lap Roll Eyes, then you must do a stop on each of the next 2 laps.

hi nice short track....i dicover it just now, in off, I do maybe 3_4 laps and ....black screen !!?......I do it again and same appends .....????? are you shure this one is more stable than the other one !?.....well , anybody tested it ?....

Oh dear! now I am confused.....

I thought that the latest release was more stable ( 96)??  has anyone else tried this track and suffered black screens? 

I am not able to do any testing at the moment, so I cannot check it. 
Both circuits have identical layouts, so if you have practiced on the version that causes problems you will not wasted your time. It is just the scenery that changes.

I practiced for thirty minutes yesterday with no problems.

I testet the Amaroo Park 96 too and it's fine!

I tested, and ended with a black screen. :euro:

had a good test this evening and drive more than one hour whith 2 differents chassis and get only one black screen :)......keep cross fingers for the race ;)

so what car Iam autorized to drive ?.......tx ! ???

Tested the old version without problems. The 96 kept giving discos. So I am looking for the next freezes tonight...

Is the Amaroo 67 the"old" version?

Afaik the 67 was posted only some days earlier in 2006...

OK, I made a new race post with the 67 track!

Don´t know much about this versions. Just took it like: 67 is older than 96.  :)
