Season 29 – 69 Extra Trophy

The second UKGPL full season for the 1969 Extra Formula 1 cars.

Depending upon demand, We may run on separate servers or as a mixed grid. Drivers will score at each race (no more 50% rule).

This season, races are to be run at 60 frames per second – please use this patch 60fpsV1 (ftp://ukgpl3.dyndns.org/Replays/Archive/Season27/60fps/) .

The races will be run as follows:

Car set: 69X Mod
Patch: 60fpsV1
Date: Every second Sunday from 11th November 2015
Time: 9:00pm UK Time (Approx 45 - 30 mins practice, race starts at 9:30pm)
Race Length: Long
Damage Model:  Intermediate
Server(s): UKGPL_8 (and possibly UKGPL9)
Race List: IGOR

Only one Reset is allowed per race, followed by a stop and go in the pit lane.

Put the file in the GEM+\options folder and then tick the option in GEM when you start it.  :)

I have unlocked the voting. David had locked it because of a database problem that is solved.

I'm very nervous because I cannot start mod 69 and 66. Tommorrow I'll  install again an another Gem. I think my actually Gem is too old.  I'm not sure. ...wait and see. ...

These cars were an absolute blast last season. Looking forward to having another crack at them.

If i have understood ,in each race the car must be different.For the Mc Laren there are 2,the Matra 3 possibility and so on.Is so?

Yes, you can drive each car only one time (else you will be DQ the second time).
You can use MS80 on the 1st race, then MS84, then MS10.

I have the same problem Philippe, with 69x, GT and even TC (from a fresh TC install!). The first two happened as I was keeping my HD too full, not noticing that I had a huge chunk of it occupied by a file download not fully completed from a few years back. I should really sort it out now I have space with a fresh install of those mods, but there's also the possibility of a GEM reinstall as well to fix it properly, so I've been lazy and simply driven all the other mods instead, with 6 left to choose from! ::)

I just did it  ;)

It's ok now, I select 36 without patch 1.3 on configurator  for playing 69,  and on Gem, I sélect patch V1. This opération only with this mod.  For another mods, I select on configurator 36 with patch 1.3

I have a problem with the circuit, I have put the mod with the 69X 60fpsV1 patch but my GPL does not load the SPA'67

I did vote to sign up (admittedly fairly recently);   but I don't appear to be registered.

I understand if this would otherwise cause a problem with numbers;  similarly understand if this is better as a lights/pro series [which it sure looks to be!].

Has registration for this Series ended?  No vote numbers shown, and Dave not yet registered?  Has a limit been set?  Popular last Season, so no handicap this Season?  This suggests fewer drivers are wanted.  One fewer here, until it becomes clear what is going on.  :-\  One Server limit. or one Moderator limit?

Dave, I checked in LM2 and you are registered as full time driver.

Well thanks to whomever!  :)

The only reason for the status change is that there is such a large subscription of full-timers for the GP69X mod that, as a reserve, it's entirely possible to get frozen out of a race by obeying the rule to leave the server for five minutes.  I'm not sure that many observe it but I've been doing so.
