Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.

rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro track pack for this series
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

New cars have now been added to the GTR3 class and are available to race for the remainder of this series  :thumbup2:

Yep some testing to be done prior to this one i think. Waiting a few days before picking up the remaining cars just in case they release a pack with them all in!

This track is like a high speed roller coaster, going to be a fun race

Sense Thursday I am unable to connect, I tried doing alot of things as described on the s3 forums, but none helped. So if I can find a solution passed this 503 error, then I will race. If not count me out for this one.

The RR server is down. Hopefully will be fixed soon and we'll be able to race tomorrow, if not the event will be rescheduled.

Goldtop, some guys are getting in. This is a crazy situation, I tried all the things on the forums, but no go. So guys are saying a complete reinstall works. But why should we go to such great extent when the game was working fine before Thursday.

Which pack do you need to buy for GT3 cars? Is it "ADAC GT Masters Experience 2014"?

Reinstalling the game will not help, the problem is their end, not ours. I have only turned a handful of laps all week with this combo and still can't get the game to run, just loads of error 503. Very frustrating!

They sent me an email this morning saying the will be larger discounts on Black Friday, so maybe worth keeping your VRP's until then. As Anty said though, no pack for GTR3 at the moment, you need to buy the cars individually.

No it's not the ADAC '14 pack. In this series we are racing only the cars from the "GTR3" class which are not available yet as a pack so you'll need to buy just one car from the following to race.

Just tried at my other location on a system that has not run R3E for a couple of weeks, and it did an update, but then went to Error 503
when trying to launch. This is why I hate anything steam driven, this may not be a steam issue, but it's the same concept
steam used to have two installs one for on line and one for off line, Sector 3 need to think of something similar.

Any idea when we can expects a decision to be announced on if the race will go ahead or not? Or are we just going to try for tomorrow night and if things don't work out go from there?

Just gave it another try, and everything seems to work OK for me now.

How about you guys?

PS. I'm considering doing the windows 10 update. Are there any problems with RRE or P&G after the update?

RRE works on Windows 10, no idea about the others.

GTL works fine under Windows 10 once you set up admin rights. I'm guessing the same is true for GTR2 & P&G.

There are still problems with the servers which is intermittent and I think Sector 3 is still working on them.

When I try to join I get 503 error about 3 times, then reboot the PC and then I can join OK.

I tried earlier and got 503 4 times, then it worked once, is not working again at the moment.
It may be there server can only cope with a limited number of logins at a time for the moment?

Yes very disappointing as they have really had enough opportunities to fix it now.

It is beginning to remind me of the launch of EA's Sim City 5 - i bought the game and then spend ages trying to get on to play it. Soured me on all EA games since and i purposely avoid them now. Similar thing may happen with Sector 3 if they don't get their act together.

Seems to be working at the moment

I got on again, but am struggling big time with these cars at this track.
I run R3E, GTR2, P&G, and GTL on Win10 Stig. I just have to run the older games in XP U3 compatibility, and run them as administrator.
I have not found anything about Win10 worth having yet, I was having trouble with drivers for my printer, and it not seeing USB
devices it used to so tried to roll back to Win7 but it had gone past the deadline for it, so am stuck with 10 now.

I've been trying to log on for last 20 minutes and getting the dreaded 503s now  ::)

Error 503 here for me too  :'(

i got error 503 for the first 4 attempts but have now managed to get in :0

I finally managed to get in so those who want to race, keep trying.

Berger and SRW are also on the server, but if we don't get at least 5 start this will be treated as a fun race and will be rescheduled for future.

I made it to the race fine BUT .........

Once again there were severe lag-problems. I was chasing a car that visually went on and off several times, so I left.

Will they ever get this game working properly I wonder  :-\

Lousy turn out tonight, for obvious reasons. Such a shame because, when it all works, it's *such* an exciting game.

Yes, a shame about these issues as the racing is so good. We had 5 on the grid so results are official....well done Jim, looked like a good battle up front.

Ahhh, didn't read all the posts, I have entered the results as a normal champ event, we can probably remove it if needed.
I had to take some guesses for the Ford and the Ruf, hopefully i got it close enough.

I never managed to get past error 503 all night despite repeated efforts. Glad a few of you guys got on to the server to have a race. See you all next time i hope!

yeo, it was Stephen.  But I 'm not 100% sure that it was RRE's fault. Could be at my end, cause on rare occasions my webspeed is unstable. It has never been a problem in P&G or other Sims though.

I also hope things get better, it is a VERY  good sim IMO.

i had a good race with jim,
i was very close behind him often,
....but i was not able to overtake him, somehow his ford was much faster then mclaren in straights, damn this ford did look like as he had 50HP more.

in end of race i did got a cutpenalty and i was then 6 sec. behind (or something like this).

low drivers we was, but i had fun with jim.

@jim, what wings did you use? i had 13 rear wing.

@all people...can i see somewhere the tecspec? (or what name is for HP, NM, weights and so on of a car), i do nowhere can see this?

I did the old 'fast on the straights defend in the corners' trick. I set the car up with very little wing (5 or 6 I think) so it would haul ass on the fast bits, then I relied on my amazing lurching and swerving skills to defend in the corners, where I was hopelessly slow. Worked out all right in the end and was another brilliant scrap :)

As far as I know there's nowhere to see the specs of the cars

Reading the Sector 3 facebook page the 503 problem has now been fixed figures crossed
