Pit Stops: You must make a minimum of one pit stop during which you must take on at least 1 litre of fuel and/or change at least two tyres. You cannot take a mandatory stop at the end of the pace lap, or with less than 1 lap to go.

I now have internet, but have the same problem, can't get into pilsbierbude ::)

So have just re-registered with them, able to use my legzy username too, so they must have deleted all users who hadn't logged in for a year or so I guess.

Took 1 min to register, received email & confirmed myself using the link in the email. track downloading

Look slike Slovakia is causing issues with the server. It keeps loading brands hatch even though I have set it to Slovakia.

I was just going to report the server is not up :laugh:

I was being booted off when I tried to log in!

Also, I think laps at 27 was a bit long for 40 mins

We will have to cancel for now and run this race again at a later date, once I find out what the issue with the track is.

Well this is novel way to not complete my fortnightly race, the race not starting!

So after completing just 1 race in 6 (12 weeks) here, I have just re-subscribed to iRacing at a cost of £0 for 3 months (using code PR3monthsfor15lapsed & for some odd reason iRacing covered the £15 left).
So I'm off to start downloading...

I've been tempted back to iracing a few times. The problem I have is that I always seem to need to invest a fortune in new content to race anything interesting. So it just gets left.

I know what you mean, but it's been about three years since my membership expired, so I thought I'd give it another go.

If anybody finds decent regular GTR2 racing, please pm me the details.

Or you could do decent regular R3E....   ::)

BTW I think this event needs moving in LM2 H@L, as it's showing as the next event

I've moved this event to two weeks after the last event (10th Jan), which I wouldn't be able to make ::)

I have looked in the GTR2 lobby a few times over the last couple of days and not seen our server.........

If the Slovakia Ring problem is not fixed maybe we could run GT1's at Donington, a fitting end as this will probably be our last GTR2 race

I'd be happy with Donington for our grand finale. Perhaps stick with same cars.

The server has been up for a few days..  I had no problems for me logging in ....

I have just logged in at 3pm, I only see 8 servers and our one is missing?

Have you reinstalled GTR2 or changed some settings recently? Sounds like you may not have the difficulty level set to sim or pro or whatever they called the highest setting. That would prevent you from seeing the server. It could also be that you don't have the lobby fix installed, that could happen if you reinstalled GTR2 but did not add the lobby fix.

I've just checked the server. Had been on for 48 hours but in case there was a lobby issue I have restarted it

I had the game set to simulation (been caught out a few times by that before!)
pretty sure I had the lobby fix (I don't think it would see any servers if it wasn't installed). anyway I re installed it just incase, still doesn't fix the problem.

I haven't done anything to GTR2 since our last sunday night race.

one thing that sticks in my mind is that ages ago there was a problem with the GTR2 lobby and we had to change some text in a file (I think it was something to do with using the Pilsbierbude).

sounds like I will have to re install GTR2,

The Altbierbude server had a big bang recentl and now GTL has a new lobby address. Wonder if something similar applies to GTR2?

maybe you have the the wrong lobby ip text it changes when u update at pilsbierbude???

it reads.....  LOCAL_IP_LOBBY  Click on it and change it to gtr2server1.gtr .... I hope this helps !!! this is a really nice track .... P.s I keep this text on my desktop for when I update there..

I opened the local_ip_lobby file, which contained the following:
gtr2server1.gtr-evolution.com

I tried replacing it with your suggestion apex, the game then said it could not connect to the lobby, I then reverted to the old text and now that wont connect either. looks like I will have to reinstall the game and hope for the best

I don't think it's an issue that needs a re-install. I'm certain it's a lobby file issue.

I'm having the same problem as SRW  :(

I've installed Win 10 since the last race. Everything else seems ok and I can still get into the lobby but not see our server. There are 7 severs in the lobby, including NorthAmercianGP.

Have just downloaded the track but cant see our server. Plus i cant login to it either to see whats going on.

FYI I am using windows 7

we are working it atm, on TS. Seems the server is specifing an ip address for lobby and we all have gtr2server1.gtr-evolution.com which points to a differnt place.

Picnic is currently changing the lobby IP txt file to match gtr2server1.gtr-evolution.com

The server has been running for goodness knows how long with an actual IP address in the lobby. I've restarted the server with gtr2server1.gtr-evolution.com in the LOCAL_IP_LOBBY .TXT file

rebooted the router & PC, qualifying had ended :(

gutted as I was looking forward to racing on this circuit

I'm sorry you had to miss out on the final race SRW.  :( It's a bit sad to race GTR2 for the last time after 8 years.

Bit late but did you remember to install the UKGTR Car Pack SRW?

Shame this seems like the end, the game still has a certain charm. Not really sure RRE is a worthy successor with its bugs and (IMHO) easy driving model but if it attracts decent grid sizes that will make up for it.

Well what to say, the end of the last UKGTR2 race. My 246th (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=LM2R&group=7&theme=3&stats=Top+25+drivers+by+participation) UKGTR2 league race :'(
It's been a pleasure racing you all over the years, & we've had a nice little loyal group this last three-four years.
Shame this last season has been a bit of a non event, but I'd like to thank H@L for all your effort over the past 5(?) years. They've been good mate :notworthy:


Now I just need to work out if I'm going to pack up my chair or give race room a go...  :-\

@picnic, I may have missed something out (I re installed the game in a hurry at 8pm). while the race was going on I uninstalled it again and reinstalled, then after the race I managed to log in ok (so at least if we ever do any special events again in GTR2 I will be able to join)

@Legzy, definitely give raceroom a go. it might be a bit rough round the edges but the immersion factor is really good, I have been using the Maclaren in the GT3 races and the forcefeedback is really good, I am starting to like it more than Assetto Corsa

lol. With it being the end of season 22, we have a final UKGTR2 champion....Congrats Apex! You drove very well mate 8)

Considering I only finished about two events, I'm somewhat surprised to find I was runner up :laugh:, though if SRW had managed to join the server & complete a lap, that honour would have been his, as he would have leap frogged NSFast & I.
