Good quali, just missed out on Pole, having set a good time early, on balloon tires, good for 3-4 laps. In the race had to run rather conservative tirepressures, costing even more topspeed of the already slow T77. Just couldn't hold on to Tim, to stay close did overheat the tires, lost the tow after 10-15 laps, and then it was just a matter to get it to the finish, since I never had pressure from behind. ;)

Just would have needed that little bit extra smoothness rather than pushing, to keep the tires in check; to be able to stay with Tim. Also used 4th for T2, in hindsight slightly too tall gearing for that. But in general a good performance, Tim and I both had avg and std deviations within 0.2, one of my most consistent races ever, even when taking it marginally easier in the middle of the race to get the tiretemps lower...

Well deserved and flawless win Tim, and also well done Axel and finishers ;)

I was a bit tired to race but finally decided to enter. No training, no setup and as it turned out no experience in 65 mod car on this track. It felt like driving a 2 years old privateer car. It was a real challenge :D My fastest race lap was run in lap 2 which tells everything from my race pace :D
Congrats to winner and podium!

I had a great battle with Doni most of the race,
my front tyres were getting hotter the more pressure I got ;D

Strange race with Roo, who I thought was a lap down,
but he had been lost by GPL when he was offline for several seconds in the first lap and several times more in the race ::)

I reinstated him provisional in pos 5 with fictitious 3secs behind Doni...

Despite the technical issues, that was a really fun race thanks in particular to Axel, Doni, Jani & T.Bot :D
Luckily I didn't damage the car too much (if at all) when T.Bot & I had contact in T1/T2.
The following chase of the field was non-stop, often side by side, courteous racing, spoiled only by me spinning at the chicane on the last lap, having just taken 3rd place  :wetfish:

Hopefully my connection will be better next race.

Cheers,
roo
