I blew the Honda motor early in the race which sent me back some- this track was a real handful with the banked corners the honda was always wanting to enter the corner facing backwards. I put some practice in for this one but really struggled offline for any consistancy. A fair result for me-- Congrats to the podium--another great drive CC.

The glory didn't last long , Sat on pole to find the flagman was invisible , had to use the left mirror view to see him drop the flag then made a slow getaway losing several paces  , worse was to come when I realised in all the excitement I had joined the race with only qually fuel on board enough for 4/5 laps . did a s/r and set off at cruising pace to see how fari could get on the mobile economy run , the answer was " not very far "

Grats to the podium looks like you all had fun

I didn't get any practice, and my result reflects that. I was happy to have finished on the lead lap, and I was able to calculate the fuel spot on. I was looking forward to watching Bernie close the gap to my tail pipe, but it was not to be this time.

Congrats all for a good race!

I forgot to mention that I only had 30 fps the entire race. The fps increased to 60 fps on the last lap after everyone else crossed the finish line. I might reduce some of the settings to see if it helps.

strong qualification.
best 4 in 0.082 !

I had a bad start and touched CC after the hairpin. Sorry.
I had to reset and missed the pitlane; spun in the pitlane.
With 31s back I pushed the pedal down. Was lucky getting on third place.
One little mistake stopped my run onto Dave in second place.

Bad luck for Bernie !

Grats to CC and all finishers.

This division is very tough this year. Several drivers going sub 1,40 would have been competitive on the Pro grid. In fact average fastest lap between the Pros & Ams were as close as I can remember.
Fine pole lap by Bernie - who compensated for his moment if genius bu short fuelling. Fast consistent race by Carlos. I didn't really have the pace to compete but some good racing along the way. For Christmas I have asked Santa for the elusive "go faster" patch. In the meantime will work on a Santa v Elves rematch

I don't normally short fuel for qually but did on this occasion , I set the time with 4/5 mins to go then sat back and watched to see who would go quicker , to my surprise no one beat it,  but a few did come very close .

Of course I  then forgot to re fill the tank ,  pretty dum thing to do yes ?   ???

I think the times were close because of the long straights + only 1 difficult corner entry at T1 ,  the most important feature is good corner exit for max speed on the long straight bits

This is a great rack for close racing IMO but the pole position needs fixing to enable the start flag to be seen by the pole man   :-\

My lack of straight line speed, and poor framerate have dented my enthusiasm, race report inspiration, and bits of bodywork. It has long been said, Motor Racing is a young Computer's sport.  Some info. for a youngster and his owner while I'm here.

1/ In the days before he became a green light, the starter held a green flag, and often stood on, or just ahead of the startline.  Visually restrictive helmets meant drivers glanced over to see him.  You should be prepared to do the same, unless he's positioned somewhere unrealistic?

2/ You have 2 setup boxes.  1st is used for practice, 2nd for the race.  Add laps to practice fuel and rename in the race box.

Both items here are probably known, but I suspect they might do a flying Bernie more good than to me this Season!  :thumbup1:

Well thanks for that great advice martin , be sure I have taken it all on board for the next time i'm sat on pole and wondering where everyone else got to  :)

GPL has 2 set up boxes ? so that's what iv'e been doing wrong all these years , I always thought we only needed to use one  ::)

As someone long ago also said "we learn something new every day "
