Let's hope that they don't want to throw it at us in a half-baked state and then extract money from everyone whilst they tinker about with it!  ::)

Hopefully, with the strong Simbin connection, it could be a bolt-on to RRE.

We're all doomed!

No Bill, we need it running on a newer software engine not something that's 10 years old!

Hopefully it will be a stand-alone sim & modable. Being modable is what has kept GTL going for so long & which will probably be the downfall of RRE.

Modding was great when game devs used to release a finished product and ship it on CD. Those days are gone because devs have realised it makes better business sense to have a product which generates continual income from updates/addons/DLC.

When games are in continual development (for good or for bad) it means that mods often become unusable because they are not kept up to date or take time to be fixed after updates (for example some AC mods). What good would that be in the middle of one of our series?

“Ever since the SimBin bankruptcy I have been working towards the GT Legends rebirth. I finally have all the paperwork in place to let you know of our plans. There are a lot challenges, and a long project, ahead of us but we remain excited and motivated for the challenges ahead and look forward to bringing a game people will love to race “

I think "long project" is an understatement. If I was in his shoes I'd be taking my paperwork to RRE devs and doing a deal.

Think I will sell my wheel.

I do not necessarily agree that the new GTL needs a new game engine. Look at what the GTLW Mod Team was able to accomplish with P&G. Also Rieza's GSE is no slouch either. Of course I would not complain if he joined forces with RRE!

I look forward to hearing more details about the cars and the tracks. The possibilities are endless.
