Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules (https://www.simracing.org.uk/index.php?pid=7) especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

AM working in Derby for the firemen next week so will be away for this.

I should have hotel wifi, so can probably do the server restart and results, but can someone volunteer to
connect in game to the server and sit on it so the clocks work correctly?

EDIT: Actually I will be back Thursday evening now, but would appreciate some backup if required....

Not a big fan of this track, i think its the one used in the winter cup? I guess i'll have to buy the cars this time!

I would have loved to do this one, the 92 DTM's are my favorite cars in RRE. However I'm off to Colombia Wednesday morning, and I won't be back untill after easter.

Difficult track but should provide good entertainment in these cars.

Start looked dodgy, a lot of bumpy going on and I saw at least one car being spun from behind with no apparent wait by the
other driver.  I could be wrong, but please remember guys, if you shove someone and they spin you should either take a stop and go
or wait for them to get going. Hard to do in the heat of the moment, but it's the way we play here  8)
Ignore my ramblings if nowt untoward happened.... ::)

Oh, and I will post a couple more events as the GTO cars have not yet been released.

Ant: put in an incident report please. we like to have these things noted for everyone's benefit.
I will not be the moderator by the way, we don't moderate for our own series.
If the mod thinks you were badly done by then some sort of retribution will be extracted
possibly by demons and fire breathing monsters,  :devil: err no actually more like a place drop or something.

I think people should take a look at replays before they start accusing. I'll be putting in a report!

The race start was scary, as all cars disappeared, after the grid walk. First car I saw, was broadside across my nose. I pulled off track, to give the position back. I obviously missed a timing sector, as from then on, I was a lap down. I think, the car broadside across my nose, was Ant (whom I think, was victim of a real early slow down penalty. (I thought, cars in slow down were ghosted for that time?. Maybe another result, of scary start.))

Ant and I seemed to be either side of a hinge, everytime we were together on track, we seemed to make contact. Sorry for all contacts sir, no malice involved.

Grats to whomever won, thats right... I didn't even look at the results on the way out... I'm a bottom.

Cool, I will watch the replay tomorrow. I know I was too close to Greg (AND BUMPED HIM) sorry Greg. All I know Audi was having a field day with me on the first lap. Anyway it is what it is. Can't cry over spilt milk now can we.

well that was interesting  :P first time i have raced at this track so took a little time to get used to it  ;D
grats Reinhard on the win out paced us all and grats Ant on the series win  8)

I enjoyed it. It's not a great track for hot lapping, but it felt like it might produce some good racing, and it seemed to.
Was watching the cut tracks being handed out, I left it on as there were no sneaky ones, and if you kept two wheels
on the tarmac you would not get any cuts, so it seemed reasonable to me.

The season has not ended John. I have been waiting for the GTO cars to be released so I could slot them in immediately
but I will keep posting another couple of events as long as I need to. This series will run until the end of the year unless
we start a new one.
