Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules (https://www.simracing.org.uk/index.php?pid=7) especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

I would lurve to run at Nordschliefe, and will if enough people say yes. Otherwise I am open

Thats good as i will never buy that track and probably not the NSU.

Which is why it's a non champ event

Looks like we're getting an update today so you'll need to make sure you allow time to download/install.

Also this will mean an update is required for the dedi server. Are you around to do this Matt?

Hopefully sooner rather than later, their website says "R3E is currently down for planned maintenance"

Multiplayer

•Added garage phase to Multiplayer. This is a 60 second phase before race to allow players to change their car setup and fuel. The garage phase ends either at 60 seconds or when all players have readied up by pressing Race.


•Added a new setting to dedicated server called “Non Ready Pitlane Start Delay”. If set to 0, players that failed to press race before garage phase ends, gets put on the grid as normal. If set to any other value, the player starts from the pits as penalty and cannot drive until that value in seconds has passed.



Be interested to know what the dedi server default setting is for this - if anyone forgets to press Race during the garage phase, does that mean they will have to start from the pitlane?

Probably best to put this value at "1" just in case one of us decides to grab a cup of tea and misses the start. Better to have a driver stationary in the pitlane than cause a pile up on the grid.

Just turned the PC on - I've got a 4.1GB update coming in for RRE. Thank goodness for FTTC  8)

Ouch yeah wasnt expecting 4.1gig. Might be some time...

Great racing, I had a good race, but ai had to fuel save at the end, but otherwise great racing all

There was only about 12mins of practice session to go when I joined (forgot it was 7.45 start). There were already drivers in game so as the race was due to start at scheduled time I thought it best to continue and just post here for any who wondered what was going on.

Had a chase after Anty but he was too quick and then had a nice battle with Frex who eventually sneaked past for 2nd. I hate Norisring as it has all my weak points in one track........hard braking points, a chicane, and tight hairpins where I can never see the entry or exit properly  ::)

Fun race again, especially with GT who seemed to have a very wayward rear end at times (ooh matron..), which was entertaining to watch.
