UKGPL SEASON 30 F2 CHAMPIONSHIP – Round 4 : Nürburgring
We move to Germany to race at the legendary Nürburgring - Nordschleife. Since its construction (1925 - 1927), the Nordschleife has enjoyed a reputation as a terrifying and merciless route through the Eifel forests. An English journalist who visited the Nordschleife during the opening race on 18 June 1927 even concluded “that it seemed as if a reeling, drunken giant had been sent out to determine the route”. The Formula 1 pilot Sir John Young Jackie Stewart – after all a three-time world champion in 1969, 1971 and 1973 – was so impressed by the circuit that he gave it the name which it will probably never lose: Green Hell (Grüne Hölle).
Racing and winning on the Nordschleife has always been very special for racing drivers, because the track is one of the most demanding in the world. Tricky corners, treacherous crests, steep inclines and gradients and constantly changing road surfaces demand great skill from the driver and put vehicles to a hard test.

1 SHIFT-R allowed (with a Stop n Go of 0 seconds)
No Stop n Go within 2 laps = DQ
Multiple SHIFT-R = DQ
Incorrect Stop n Go = 30 seconds added
Last lap SHIFT-R gains a 15 second penalty if a Stop is not possible.

stopped in pit while told 'wait' ... waited .... got 'retired' by server.

went to watch the olympics instead.

The problem there is you have to stop exactly (well, within 0.5m, as far as I can tell) at the spot it wants you in, but there's no indication of if you're good or not. The game probably thought you'd stopped outside of that limit, and then the "10 seconds at less than 30kmh" kick activated. I have got it to work before, but it's a crapshoot.

In future league races here, you're probably best off ignoring the "stop" message (or any DQ's the game gives), finish the race, explain the situation in the race thread, and let the mods sort the mess out. They'll (mostly) do what's right.

you're right Dean, thought the same when I had been kicked out but probably just a little rusty after the break that I wasn't thinking clearly.

Hard Race with a good result for me, sorry Axel to overtake you fully on the grass and a scary moment for Jani when i missed my braking point.

I' just about two seconds slower than 1967 F1 :)
