HANDICAPPING
The tokens system remains for all drivers.
In the interest of having a competitive championship the faster drivers are requested to voluntarily select car that suits your ability, from Race 1. If you are consistently qualifying at the front of the grid,  finishing on the podium & recording fastest lap then you should be not be taking a faster car.
The championship will be reviewed after Race 3. Drivers may then be allocated to one of the following handicap groups
Group 1 BRM, Honda, or Cooper,
Group 2 as above + Brabham
Group 3 as above + Ferrari
For Round 5 the following handicap applies
David Rainier & Jani Posta – Group 3.

Drivers are permitted one Reset / Shift R per race, followed by a compulsory Stop & Go within two laps. If you take your reset on the last lap 15 seconds will be added to your time. A second Shift R will result in Disqualification unless it is the direct result of the first incident e.g. hit when respawning.
If you are the first car entering the pit lane to take your SnG aim to bring the car to a halt alongside the last pit stall - closest to the exit. As soon as your car is stationary you can go. You won't be penalised if you stop a little short or beyond the pit stall.
In the event that more than one car takes a SnG at the same time the following cars can perform their Stop & Go in line.
No overtaking in the pit lane.

Until the number of registered drivers exceeds grid capacity drivers may join the server as soon as it appears in IGOR.

Drivers are required to complete 50% distance to score points.

There is no Red Zone for this series, moderating will be on reported incidents only. Please remember that an additional 1 place penalty is awarded for Lap 1 incidents.

Please restrict chat to pit messages including at the end of the race until ALL drivers still racing have crossed the line.

Password: see above

Gosh, this is a tough one.  I haven't raced here for years, and I'm well over a second down on my best time, set in 2006!  :-[  Chassis choice... do I go with my head or my heart?

Missed the race due to a massive Windows update that took forever. My sentiments toward Mictosoft are not printable.

Rusty Racer , just couldnt get a lap together in qually , tried stiffer set up for the race and it felt better , or maybe It was me getting better ? . several spins and avoidance with Ronnie and Fran at the back of the field , then got lapped , then knocked a front wheel off on the barriers when trying to keep up with Mr Bagrup and hit the ESC button by mistake instead of S/R  Race over

Dohhhh !

Grats to podium and all who finished  :)

very happy for my first place.
On the start, we was 5 drivers on 1.23.xxx, and I said :"race will be difficult".
but I drive without mistake with ferrari. I think I was "hot" on the track, because
I was finished A race with F1legends on vroc. I was completly 'open".
Grats to all finisher, and thx to the organizers.
See you next...

I started practicing for this one a few weeks ago, and was horrified to find I was about 4 seconds off the time I set 10 years ago in the Lotus(1.22:66). I tried four of the chassis, but ended up with the Lotus, because it was the most stable - despite using up all my tokens.  I guess Mosport is not the sort of track you drive when you want a few fun laps, and I had not driven it for ages.  I eventually started getting under 1.24, and when I set my qualy time of 1.23.88, I knew I couldn't go any faster.  My plan for this race (especially) was to avoid trouble and stay on the track. Lap 1, on the back straight, Fran was challenging me, and I lost the rear end under acceleration, and we both span.  ::)  For the next few laps, myself, Fran and Bernie traded places as we all left the track.  At some stage, I obviously incurred some slight damage, and the car started behaving erratically under braking, resulting in more spins.  I finished 4th as the last runner - truly a race of attrition.

I was having a good quali Lap, was very close between Phillipe, Dave and me..I knew it will be hard.

After cycling late in the evening my Knees began to hurt and I made several mistakes not having enugh sensitivity on the pedals. Was happy to finish 3rd.

Best Regards,
Bastian
