My apologies Mark. I had to check my replay to see exactly what I did wrong. I braked early as I thought I had done. When I saw you going slow and sliding wide, I tried to get inside. I was going too fast. Some warp when I made contact may have made things worse. There was strange warp on lap 12 too, at Dr. Tiroch. Mark was likely to beat me. Up to the point I wrecked him, I hadn't seen anything that made me think I could actually pass. I waited for Mark after the wreck and after he pitted. I was trying to slow enough so he'd get within 2 seconds of me, so we could see if he could use the slipstream to catch me. Trying to keep the heat in my tires I didn't quite slow enough. I also was going to let him pass me at the end but Prib has a bug with this track. It listed one lap to go even after I finished. The fans would have booed me on that one. It looked rather dirty but it wasn't intentional. Sorry for spoiling the late fun Mark. Thanks guys. I was feeling fairly comfortable, but still pushing like mad while keeping an eye on the mirror. Couldn't seem to break the tow at all. Had a small slide into turn 4 lap 20, and Greg came in, but slid up the track towards me, the bump was enough to knock me over the fence. I couldn't get back down to the track so had to do a reset, and a stop and go penalty. Amazing how much slower the car felt with the full fuel in it again.
