Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules (https://www.simracing.org.uk/index.php?pid=7) especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=LM2R;group=579)

This race will be a rolling start following a formation lap and the procedure is as follows:

*It will be the pole sitter's responsibility to complete the first lap at a pace that allows the rest of the grid to follow comfortably
*There should be no overtaking or hard accelerating/braking
*Drivers should avoid getting too far behind or too close to the driver in front
*Approximately 20 seconds before crossing the start line the pole sitter should slow down to a speed of no more than 50mph (80km/h)
*Each following driver shall close up directly behind the driver in front also maintaining a speed of no more than 50mph (80km/h)
*The pole sitter should maintain that speed until they cross the start line and then accelerate away to start the race (lap2)
*Each following driver should only accelerate when the driver directly ahead does (they do not have to wait until crossing the start line)
*No overtaking is allowed before crossing the start line at the completion of the formation lap

Looks like i'm not going to be able to make this one. Need to go back and see my parents and they want me to stay late.

Results done.
Strange, I had to manually kick it to export them, it used to auto export.
Maybe tell it to update results before we reset the server?

Phew, exhausting...  Spa gave me a good workout today, was lucky to even join this one with family over the night before and a few bottles of red, I wasn't 100%.  Pete was nice to Race you today, lots of pressure from behind and loosing a position to you before we pit.  I'm sure you took notice of how lap after lap I screwed up that tight chicane, kind of sloppy for me today.   I changed tires when refueled, but wondering if I even needed to, stayed healthy all race.   Any else have feedback on Tire data.

Carl

Was good to have someone on similar lap pace Carl, enjoyed that especially as I was expecting a lonely race. Shame I binned it with 2 laps to go, not that I had the pace to catch you or get passed mind you. I changed tyres at the pit stop too but, like you, wondered if I really needed to.

Glad the race wasn't one lap longer as I only had half a lap of fuel left at the end  ::)

Great pace up front again  8)

Always enjoy Spa and the Merc was a surprisingly decent drive. Couldn't do much about JP's pace and watched him disappear into the distance so just concentrated on running even pace and not falling off.

I didn't change tyres and wear was not too bad but I had to back off a bit towards the end. Unfortunately I vastly overfilled my fuel which probably made life harder for me.

Nice racing fellas  8)

that was fun been working on tweaking the set up I have for the Ford which seem to work for me an i was able to maintain a decent pace. I did change my tires which I probably didn't have too, is it worth trying 2x tire wear on endurance races?

Carl and myself were catching GT over the last few laps. Not sure how protective of the tyres GT was in the end but given better consistency by Carl and myself he might have been under more pressure without faffing around with 2x tyre wear
