SEASON 31 Amateurs Trophy (65) : Round 2  ROUEN

The second round of this series will take place in a well known track : Rouen Les Essarts in Normandy.

Handicapping
All drivers have a free chassis choice for this 2nd except Gareth who should not take Lotus 33 neither Brabham BT11. .

- one reset (SHIFT-R) allowed per race, followed by a stop and go.

All F1 are garagistas ...except Ferrari  ;)

Hopefully there will be a practice server up at some point [nudge-nudge!  8) ]
Interested to know if my 65 gremlins are dealt with...

Hi my igor not working again (shows no races), the ip i used for Stardust worked so can i use it for Rouen?

Just tried it and not working, so hope someone will post ip.

Rog, I am fairly sure Jethro's server had a fixed IP address, so the same you used for Stardust should work. I would not be surprised if the race is not hosted until much before 9 pm.

Hi Billy Thanks for reply, just tried again and got (you are not qualified to drive in this race) tried both passwords, will try again later. This is a mystery to me as last season igor worked fine, have also re installed Gem+igor and still no joy.

YIPPEE just tried igor again and igor is working have got race list. Hope it stays if not will try the ip route. Thanks

Unfortunately, despite running mostly ok connecting to 65 servers over the last couple of nights [just 1x disconnect when going to the grid]  I was just unable to make it as far as the pitlane tonight - GPL just crashing to desktop.

Fun race, Congrats David R.!

I battled with Fabio for a few laps until we touched wheels entering Gresil. I do not think that it was my mistake. Except that I do regret not waiting for a safer opportunity. In any case, I was sad to see the incident end Fabio's race. My race ended early when I forgot to slow down for the left hand corner before Virage Samson.

I sacrificed my practice time to play basketball with my 1 year old daughter. It was well worth it, but I was not as prepared as I would have liked to have been.

Good race Chaps! :) More motivation for next time, right?

*I liked that I had the NART Ferrari.

Engine went down on Pos.1...not my season yet.

Going fine till went off about lap 12, car not so sure after.

On lap 2 I suspected Rog was on my inside. I tried keeping outside but put a wheel on the dirt. After the SnG & two stupid spins I had lost about 50 secs. Decided to run to the finish just for team points, so good to see David R scoring well. Again sorry for Dave C with connection problems, very frustrating! Very quick at the front again.

Hi billy sorry lap 2, yes i was inside of you, did not expect you to go so wide, i would have backed off.

Rog, no apology necessary- the crash was totally self inflicted.

Really enjoyed the race and had a great battle with Dave for most of it. I couldn't break his tow early on and couldn't find a way past later.

Chasing hard I made a couple of errors and lost time, then on the last lap had a spin in T1 for the first time ever and lost second place to Bastian.

Great race and set a PB with a tow from Dave.
