Hello fellow Racers,

Here are the details of the forthcoming R3E GT3 Summer Series:

6 Round Series using GT3's. Each racer is to stick to the same car for the series, but is allowed to make one switch (penalty free) to another car if they find they are not getting on with their first choice.

The Calendar is as follows:

Round 1. Zolder, 16 July 2017. 40 mins, no mandatory pitstop required

Round 2. Oschersleben, 23 July 2017. 40 mins, no mandatory pitstop required

Round 3. Mid Ohio, 30 July 2017. 40 mins, no mandatory pitstop required

1 week mid season break (This is the week I will run a Le Mans mini endurance race using Assetto Corsa)

Round 4. Sachsenring, 13 Aug 2017. 40 mins, no mandatory pitstop required

Round 5. Bathurst, 20 Aug 2017. 40 mins, no mandatory pitstop required (depending on attendance figures for the series I may switch this round to Norisring)

Round 6. Silverstone, 27 Aug 2017. 50 mins, mandatory pitstop (fuel multiplier TBC)

The series will use the same points system as GoldTops previous series.

The race evening schedule will be the same as Goldtops previous series:

Practice: 20:00 GMT (30 mins)
Qual 2: 20:30 (15 mins)
Race: 20:45  (60 Mins)

Each race will use our standard formation rolling starts.

Interesting mix of tracks, Oscheslaben and sachsenring I dont think we run much.

Running the 650S at Bathurst competition last night did make me think i could cope again with it lol.


With Wednesdays moving away from GT3's i'll look forward to these more! I should be around all sundays AFAIK.
