Next Fun event takes place at Road America the new track made by Remy and Ginetto.
Road America, near Elkhart Lake in Wisconsin, is one of North America's finest road racing venues,
with a challenging mix of corners and undulations.

The event is unmoderated – but the usual high standards are expected.

Unlimited Shift R is allowed & there are no Stop & Go’s. But please be carefull...

I highly recommend to use the "GPL Tire Pressure Bug Fix Patch"  (http://gplmotorworks.gplworld.de/) of Lee Bowden for the Sport Cars.
It makes the cars tyres way better controllable and reduces the brake bug to a minimum.

Thanks for that recommendation, Axel.  I've not used the patch up til now but just tried it after two, 4-lap stints at Road America.  The first 'as is'; the 2nd with the patch.  While I was no faster...in fact, about 1/2s slower..., control under braking was far, far better with the patch.  I'm sure that with a little more seat time, I'll easily surpass my current PB.

How do you apply it?

Put it in the GPLsecrets\GEM+\options folder where the 60fps patches are and activate it in GEM+

I think I'll miss this one though, I just don't get on with this mod and always find myself in the Porsche again.

Mike just take the Porsche, ignore all default setup settings and set it up like a 67 F1.

Those weird settings were made because of the tyre bug...

I can't promise I'll make this one, I had a ridiculously long couple of days Thursday/Friday and will most likely choose bed over racing!

Not bad, incident on the start with a slingering car. some good fights, but retired later, was too tired and made one mistake too much.

Nice win by Axel in the little Pooper.  Blistering FTD by Tris.  Well done, gys.

The shunt off the start was quite hair-raising!  I was propelled clear over the barriers to wind up in the trees!

I initially tried to chase down Geoff in his P910 and was only making marginal gains.  It was quite fun and he was going well.  Only with a spin by Geoff did I manage to get ahead.  On the last lap, I gassed it hoping to set a PB.  Pleased to see that I recorded a 23 in the big Ford.

Bastian you are too aggresive.Was a race for fun but my fun is ended immediately.After the incident my car have produced smoke,S&G but after half lap one engine explosion.Not a good evening.

I was too agressive ? Your car was slingering from the start as you probably hit the gas pedal too much.
I did not save the replay...it could have been lag as well...
