Title: 2018 Sunday Night Race Schedule - information
Post by: SRW on November 30, 2017, 11:24:11 PM +0000
Hi All,

Here is a quick outline of my plans for next years race schedule which is fast approaching!

January will be taken up by fun races in R3E & Assetto Corsa, I will be gauging interest in some new tracks and cars for future use.

Then starting in February will be a bi-weekly British GT championship using Assetto Corsa GT3's, during the alternate weeks I will be running a R3E series, the car choice still too be decided.

Then later in the year when the British GT championship has finished i will be running a bi-weekly series based on the Australian Supercar Championship calendar, probably using Assetto Corsa GT3 or Porsche supercup.

More details to follow!

Assume your talking of sundays here SRW?

Just purchased a few cars (New R8 GT3, Porsche GT3, and GT3 cup) and the only circuit i dont own, Sepang.

With no race scheduled till next week am seeing whats coming up. Matt seemed to be talking of running modern and classic stuff on thursdays?

Someone was just talking about a V8 supercars mod for AC....

Hi looks like i might have Sunday nights clear again so can race either GPL or here with AC. 2 questions are the cars you are using have to be purchased ie DLC and will one have to book to play online?

You've not bought any DLC?  :o

Just considering the GT3 class i know the latest Audi and Porsche are part of DLC packs. I think maybe the LMPs are fine, but not sure.

Hi,

Annoyingly you will need the DLC's to cover all the GT3 models we use (regardless of what car you drive) otherwise you will get a mismatch when you try to join the server. I will need to check about the LMP1's (I was planning on only using the Audi & Toyota as the other cars are a lot faster)

As for prebooking, I try to avoid it where possible as it is more work for me setting it up! I do not plan on using it for the LMP1's or the V8 supercars, but may use it for the GT3's as the large car choice is awkward in AC servers without using prebooking. But even if I do use the prebooking system you will still be able to turn up on the night, you will just have to log on before the qualifying session starts.

I have updated the post above with some more information about the fun races during January and the AC British GT and R3E WTCC series which start in February. I have highlighted the extra content that you will need to buy from STEAM in red (these items are discounted at the moment in the STEAM sale)

Hi Rog,

That is the correct site, you need the 4k version.

FYI - I have created a race announcement for this Sundays race in the AC races section  :)
