I have decided not to use the pre booking system as we are only using two car types. Therefore you can join the server up until the end of qualifying

The link of the track doesn't seem to work for me. Maybe it's just because I tried it on my phone.

Why is the event being labelled as Blancpain?

Why is the event being labelled as Blancpain?

An oversight, the first special race i organised was a GT3 race, then i asked for some extra race dates and they all got put under the same title, as it just a one off fun race i did not want to waste peoples time asking for it to be changed

I have changed the server over to practice for tomorrow nights race, I have tried logging in during practice and qually and all seems ok, if potential racers get a chance could they try logging on to the server to make sure everything is ok and raise any concerns before the end of the day. Picnic is not racing tomorrow night but will be available earlier in the day to help sort out any problems, and my knowledge of the AC server is minimal.

Just wondering about pitstops in multiplayer as I'm not sure I've done this before ???

In single player race it seems I just set the amounts required in the pitstop preset and then drive into the pits and the pitstop begins automatically when I come to a stop in my pit. Is this the way it works in multiplayer?

Having fun practice racing with a field of GTE/GT2 cars and half a dozen P1s  ;)

I've done pitstop races online, and they have worked exactly as you describe above.

Also, no need to slow down before the line, you can enter as fast as you can and let the game slow you down. Bit of caution as sometimes the game slows you down abrubtly which can make you spin, but that's pretty rare.

Lol i know, but i normally like to run it locked to the horizon. Most track dont have this level of camber!

Still struggling with the boost thingy. Tried to follow Jefrey's advice form the last event
but it won't let me map any buttons for mg-u? something, there are DRS, and KERS
then MG-U something. I have it ( I think the way suggested) to let it do it's own thing
but I can't get a display to show the charge levels.

I haven't tested myself, but this track is a lot shorter, so I think you can use a more aggressive setting. The standard RPM gauge app shows the charge as a yellow line, which is also on the steering wheel IIRC, but I have that turned off, so I'm not sure.

Yes, use the RPM/ Gear display app

Its not the MGU setting, i think its the KERS you need to set. This track is alot simpler for manually deploying, not sure you get much benefit on the infield.

Not sure about setup, the default Audi is really easy to drive but a bit slow donw the straights, tried changing the setup but made it worse in the infield!

All cars disappeared followed by connection issue message  ???

Every race I do in AC I swear it will be my last but having spent all my spare time this week practicing and fiddling with settings I can safely say that's it for me....finito....thank you and good night.....elvis has left the building  :hang:

Strange Tudor, I have never had a connection issue in AC at all, ever.
I forgot to learn where the pit entry was  :whistling:
And went down some roads I hoped would eventually take me there, only to find
that particular grass was actaully a space time vortex and I went down the endless hole
Usually it lets me esc out after a while, but this one was not having it, so closed AC
Shame I was hugely enjoying up to there tumbleweed

really enjoyed the race, didnt do any practise, no idea what i had to set the thingie too.. so i left it on high aggressive and hoped for the best, it wasnt the best lol. .

i thought the rolling start was grand :)

i would really love to see the same kinda format in something like the 917K or C9..

wow, we broke in to double figures tonight for the first time in a long while on a Sunday night! makes it so much more exciting when there is a decent size grid. I could have done with a lot more practice with these LMP1's, made way too many mistakes (clipped the bottom of the track while on one of the fast banked corners and spun/spun on pit entry/cocked up braking into the first corner and spun). These LMP1's bite back if you make a mistake. Sorry if I 'wrecked' any of you 'good ol boys' with my mistakes on this high speed oval. Thanks to everyone for taking part.

With it being Christmas Eve next Sunday and New Years eve the Sunday after i was not planning to do another Sunday race till the first Sunday in January, but I may do a special race during the holiday, maybe a race on New years day, I will put a poll up in a few days time to gauge interest.

I was planning on doing some fun races during January before my Assetto Corsa British GT3 series starts in February, race dates and details to follow shortly. After tonights race and the recent Lemans LMP1 race, seems like there is an appetite for these LMP1's, think I will have to get an LMP1 WEC style series sorted for later in the year!  Have a great Christmas everybody

Really enjoyed my first race with the group.   ;D

I joined because I was looking for something a bit different in AC and LMP1@Daytona did not disappoint.  I know the TS040, but Daytona was new to me this week. Great track.

Looking forward to '67 Prototypes@Kyalami on 27 December, if I can make it.  Count me in for any future LMP1 series, and 917K, C9 (& 787b.)

Thanks SRW for organising and everyone for the race.

Just never seemed to focus last night in the race. Not used AC for a long time, so was getting a bit distracted with the apps on the screen. Not sure what was going on with the start, Some one went when the lights went out, bouncing off the wall and then no idea what people were doing at the rolling start, did it say to go double-file?

Fell off early on, that second horse-shoe was killing me, but a silly thing like the bing when Goldtop left, through me so much i fell off again. Rejoining i noticed it was counting me a lap down, every time Matt got closer i was getting blue flags. Which got me wondering if i should carry on and in the end quit.
