I have both in my tracks folder, but nothing marked Standard. ???

The load screen has a picture of the track plan with a Shelby GT350.Title: Re: UKGTL Season 18 Motorsport World Cup - Monza - Feb 26 Post by: EvilClive on February 24, 2018, 01:35:42 PM +0000 Thanks Tony.

Title: Re: UKGTL Season 18 Motorsport World Cup - Monza - Feb 26 Post by: Erling G-P on February 27, 2018, 08:31:34 AM +0000 Sorry about my absence guys. Still have severe back problems, and on top of that, I learned Saturday that a friend through almost 30 years, is terminally ill with cancer. Just couldn't muster any enthusiasm for practice and racing.

Also hope your back gets better soon.
On a happier note, my PC is now fixed, graphics card had expired, so hopefully I should be back racing next week & as I am retiring from work tomorrow I will now have no excuse for not having time to do any practice, lol, some hopes!!!!!!!!! Grats on the PC fix and your up-coming retirement. I'm loving semi-retirement and am really looking forward to that final step to full time no work.Title: Re: UKGTL Season 18 Motorsport World Cup - Monza - Feb 26 Post by: EvilClive on February 27, 2018, 06:29:57 PM +0000 Sorry to hear about your friend Erling.
As for Geoffers, I can thoroughly recommend retirement. But, if you think that it will allow you more time to "play" GTL......think again. These days I wonder how I actually found time to go to work!!! and I certainly cannot get in more simracing practice :-\ The races last night were great fun, but Ziu was simply a distant memory after around 30 seconds!! In the past I have tried to master the Porker and failed miserably, but from somewhere I conjured up a setup that ( sort of) worked. Well when I say "worked", it did not try to kill me at the first corner and was OK provided that I was gentle on the gas out of corners. I deliberately chose the Porsche for this track as it does not have too many corners ::) hoping to use up the drives and save cars I am more confident about driving for other circuits. But in both races that Porsche was simply waiting for me to get confident, and then when I pushed just a little too hard on the gas it instantly stuffed me into the nearest barrier. :( I lost places in both races when the Porsche curse took me out. In race 1 (we will ignore the start to preserve some dignity), I was fending off Bob in his Nissan for many laps before a tank slapper out of Ascari got rapidly uncontrollable and I said "Hello" to Mr Armco. Race 2 I was enjoying chasing down Fulvio in his Commodore and the Porsche got me again :-\ Still very enjoyable and some great racing.
