Could we get something like a baseline setup from someone posted?
I've been trying to get into AC, but so far it's been pretty bleak. I don't expect to suddenly be flying with a proper setup, but it's a start.
I've never made setups myself, there's plenty around for GPL for any track/car combo.

There really is very little you can do to these cars anyway. Biggest 'issue' is the automatic DRS when your'd rather have the downforce

this car feels a real physical work-out on this track  :P its going to be knackering racing for 40mins especially once the tyres wear out a bit.

I think we should have real weather for tonight  I see F1 testing was held up this morning due to snow at the circuit!

Will be on tonight, so add me to the list. Had a little praccy last night and found that the car was a little squirrely on occasions but not too difficult to control unless you really did plant your right foot. Still can't see how Felix eeks out 3 seconds on me.

Enjoyed tonights race, great car and track combo and it put a smile back on my face after Sundays nights disaster in the GT3.
My first outing in this car was at Imola and I have improved my pace however I need to find more consistency and about another 6 or 7 tenths in race trim if I am going to challenge to get into the top 5. My start was pretty crap loosing about 3 or 4 places but no contact so could have been worse. Simon got past me at turn 1 after about 5 or 6 laps and I just tried to keep up and not take too much out of the tyres. Congrats to the Winner and podiums. Looking forward to Japan :-)
Thanks to Jeffrey for organising.

Mark J, what happend with you? Did you read my post to you about tires above?  ;)   . I lost you in race. So, podium, P3, was mine, not yours  ;)  >:(  ;D
Thanks for the race guys, was hard for me at night , qualy was not sucess, started race in P5, finished 3rd due aliens herdest battle and small but vital for tires mistakes  :)
PS. Damn downshift protection- i lost position to Maikel in 2nd lap.  :P
Congrats NFSW55 for win and Maikel for podium! It was hard race for all of you and Felix! IMHO if we have a 2 race laps more - i'll overtake you both! ( JOKE)  :D
See you all in next road of destiny.

Yes Alexey I should have heeded your advice  :-[ I definitely had the wrong boots on so I was stuck firmly in a lonely 7th place the whole race  :( I could see flavus and Simon up the road but could never close on them. I really thought their mediums would wear out with 10 mins to go and i would be able to attack ...nope  ::)
In my practise the rears kept spinning up so thought meds wouldn’t last 40mins here.

I only enjoyed the first few laps including good side by side action with simon and fmg but after fmg disappeared I was totally bored. I didn’t see another car behind me the entire race  :'(
Disappointing race all in all.

Congrats to the podium  :)

Mediums become yellow with 10 minutes to go, but they don't lose that much grip in that stage. The red stage is still quite far off when we cross the finish line, so for wear the mediums should be the choice.

I went for hards aswell and it wasn't too bad, but the difference in grip near the end wasn't really noticeable until the last few laps.

The race went pretty good except the start. At T1 I thought too brake abit early and see what happens but I saw nsfw closing in fast in my rear view mirror so I eased of the brakes abit. Ofcourse I completely missed the corner and lost 3 places as the cold hards were pretty low on grip. After that I chased Felix and Nsfw for the rest of the race, pretty even in pace. At one point they had a little tussle in the hairpin so I managed to squeeze in between them. Got close to attacking Nsfw the last few laps as my tyres had better grip at the end but he kept it nice on the defense. Probably not going to go for the hards anymore  ;D

In the meantime he became dad on Sunday :D

His baby has gone full throttle and anticipated the period a bit, but it's all ok  ;)

And my SSLazio lost the return match at the penalties...  >:(

So you fast front group have found a setup gain with the Ferrari ? I was getting on the power as soon as I dared in most corners but you guys were still out accelerating me through the turns and pulling a gap. If I tried getting on the power any earlier the car just understeered off the racing line. Maybe the hards were that bad in grip comparison   ???
I was also disapointed with how little kerb I could use here without it trying to spin me.

I was contemplating taking softs for the race! Only tried them for qually and the temps didnt look too much more compared to the mediums.

Was hoping to stick to the back of MJ and Simon but made a few mistakes and ended up behind ChrisT had a good race with him trying to get past, fell off and got past again! Byt them the gap to MJ was massive, but i could tell i wasnt going to catch him.

Surprised to drive my times, but was surprised by increasing front ARB helped control the car so much, think i was running 12, rather than 7 before!

It's Kate's birthday for this one - if I'm not there you'll know why  :hammer:

Well, I made it. But after 'having' to help finish off half a bottle of wine before the race I made a massively stupid mistake - and while transferring some settings from the qually setup to the race one I changed everything apart from tire compound.
Exiting T3 I was amazed how easily I was gaining on the car in front, and after a few more corners realisation that something is probably wrong dawned.
This resulted in a few mistakes while I was distracted checking compounds, followed by a couple more while hastily editing a pitstop routine to change to mediums once the Softs were dead - not an easy task here when operating by touch due to the Rift!

I stayed out and pushed hard to at least get some advantage from the softs, at first I was easily pulling away. Then after about 7 minutes I was about the same speed as the cars around me.
By 10 I was well into the red and having to drive very consciously of the rear left.

Cue my pitstop.....

I came out just as Syd and Larry came blasting side by side up the S/F straight - had it been a single car I'd have probably stayed inside the line and then seen if I could maintain position through the chicane. For 2 cars I made sure to leave room for whoever it was on the right as I didn't want to be caught up in any of their fight ;D

A lap later once my tires were getting up to pressure and I was able to start moving forward. Either the 10 minute rubber advantage was helping me or I torpedoed myself out of a podium capable setup today, I spent the entire remainder of the race looking at green numbers to the entirety of the field on Ptracker.
Not by much, but enough to really annoy me during the race (the red mist may have helped).
Fairly pleased with 9th I guess when all is considered, well done to the podium and everyone who actually ran the correct setup!
