After Jeffrey's warm up race on Wednesday  ;) its time to head back to Silverstone for the main race on Sunday

LMP1's with a mandatory pitstop

I will set the fuel multiplier before the weekend to make sure we need a decent gulp of fuel at the pitstop

Sorry, I didn't realise you also had Silverstone planned this week or else I would have picked something else. I just picked it because we hadn't used it in a while.

I have set the fuel multiplier to x2.5, which should mean we need one fairly decent fuel stop during the race, if anyone disagrees let me know.

The practice server is now up and running, looking forward to this race and the next few months, British GT's and WTCC, then Aussie V8's and more GT3's!

Tried a few laps earlier but only using a modified default setup, so not too extreme as i thought high downforce better here.  But trying the different deployment options out didnt really change my times too much. Tried Manual, low preserve and low agressive and they all used it gradually around the lap and for similar times for me.

its tough to keep your concentration up in these LMP1's for 50 mins! I was looking good for a podium till I cracked under pressure on the penultimate lap and lost 12 seconds getting back on track. seems like some people needed two pitstops, may have been a car choice thing, I did my fuel calculations using the Toyota and it was nowhere near needing two full tanks, the Audi must be a lot more thirsty, looks like I will need todo some testing in both cars before the next race!

It was a shame about the low turnout, after the AC/Daytona/LMP1 race last month I was expecting a few more. Never mind, we are having another fun race next week, GT3's at Adria, a tight and twisty track that was popular for a short period a few years ago. Then two consecutive weeks of test races using the Aussie V8 Supercars in preparation for my series later in the year

Had not realized how good AC is, but Silverstone GP with the LMP1 Toyota was a blast, okay the other drivers were way faster than me but i still enjoyed the race. GT3`s at Adria next noticed the AI does not work here poss because its a mod track.

Grats to NFSW55 on win

Grats to Podium

Seemed myself and Apex were on similar pace so ended up being a good race, accept for needing to pit twice! Audi has a smaller tank than the Toyota. Though i couldn't see how i can change the pitstop on the first one and so changed tyres, the second one i realised i could change the options using the arrow keys so didn't get a full tank with 10mins to go. i think it allowed my to get out ahead of Apex but also meant SRW was close by.

Hadnt realised how much the FFB loads up in the fast stuff, my arms were aching at the end!
