Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules (https://www.simracing.org.uk/index.php?pid=7) especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

So we are still doing 4week gaps betwen races in a series? you just lose all momentum.

There are 3 series at the moment. Could make it two, if people prefer that.

Ha. I was thinking of doing an alternate like Jeffrey is at the moment
but I wanted to use the Capri. Perhaps just two at a time would be better.
I am going to be traveling up to Glasgow when this runs, so will miss it

Capri, as in group 5's? Its set to GTO, so audi, nissan and mustang?

Think it was confused, it was wanting to do an update, just reset and tested, and it seems correct

EDIT: And err, even though the server was set to Gr5 Capri, and the picture was a capri
and most of the notes said Gr5, I had forgotten to change the car in the front page.

Will do. Having given up with AC, and the 599xx, last night I did a few laps with this combo to see what it was like. Can't see me surviving a whole race over the mountain without some disaster or 6 but I'm looking forward to tonight's event all the same.

It is always a risky bussiness at the mountain, but these cars are, to my limited skillset at least
easier than I had thought here.

Having problems with RRE, first attempt it stuck on the original screen. Did a reboot of PC and on second attempt I found our site but it showed no one on it and I had option to buy Bathurst which I already own and have raced on a number of occasions.  ::) ???

Going to have another attempt and then have a night on something else.  :surrender: :rockon:

Tried again, now shows 2 people on server but still showing I need to buy track.  Hope people  who got on server had  a good race.

The evening didn't start too well, when no one was able to start their respective games. It all worked out for Dieter, Pete and myself, unfortunately not for Mark (Spanner) or indeed Bill it seems, pita.

Yes def some RRE backend server issues tonight that meant a messed up pre race and some people getting content errors.

Well done Eck, great return and showed us how it should be done! I said I'd have a problem over the mountain and duly lost it on lap 2 or 3. A 20 point turn later and I only had people to race as they slowed to let us bunch up again. Still enjoyed that more than the 599xx rubbish in AC  ::)

Apologies for blundering over the line first and stealing the win, that was not my intention (didn't realise it was the last lap).

Tbh I was really struggling here and I don't know why. I had some practice laps yesterday and was happy with the car, but straight away tonight I just kept losing all traction - seemingly at random and in any gear, even at the end of the straights. I guess I need more practice time to try and understand what's going on, but at the moment I'm confused..!

Sorry to hear others had server problems; congrats Eck and Pete.

Both last night and tonight (worse yesterday) I had the odd case of little or no acceleration, as if someone had nicked the turbo. I know low down in the rev range there is very little but I had cases where the turbo didn't kick in until almost full revs. Very strange.

Yeah, i kept getting content server errors once the game allowed me to run it. Shame as this looked to be a really interesting combo and was looking forward to it. Why couldn't his have happened on an NSU night!
