Ballast is posted and it has equaled out quite a bit after 6 rounds, only tactical genius Simon has never had ballast and is still 5th in the championship :D.

Love this screech and howl of this bloody bitch car on this track, and when my heart is going out of body, passing every turn  8)
Zero ballast !!!  :P

:whistling:

Not feeling it around this track. I seem to have hit a brick wall of performance and unlike a lot of tracks I can't see where to gain more than say 0.3 now. It's fairly easy to drive the same limit every lap. Over-driving in this car of course is very easy, but does not improve performance!

As I'm currently unemployed, I've done 12 laps practice! ;D

Gutted, that had the making of a brilliant close race with so many of us within 10ths of each other. I crossed the line after lap1 and everything went black, complete shut down with AC hanging  >:( :'(

Looked at reply on lap 2 on my own on start/finish straight and car becomes two cars and no steering at all it felt like something behind was pushing me straight on. Bloody weird, three weeks on the trot not finished a race, becoming very disillusioned.

Connection problems Bob? I think I was near you on lap 2 and a car certainly vanished from in front of me approaching T1 - scared the bejesus out of me but never reappeared.

Horrible race for me - turns out I probably should have put some laps in prior to joining the server as my car wasn't quite upto keeping with the field.
Big apologies to Simon for rear ending you, didn't think you'd still be there by the time I reached the corner from so far back and couldn't go left as I was alongside someone at the time :(

And yes Baikel - BST has now started so the UK is an hour earlier than last week

1) I got a jump start for accidentally putting it in reverse before the lights went out and starting further back than I should have. Really?! Gah! Moronic rules. ::)
2) Got turned around in T1 Lap1.
3) Drive through for jump start.
4) Driving at full pelt trying to catch anyone.
5) Setting fastest lap.
6) Got turned around at the hairpin as another car tried to pass someone behind me.
7) Maikel somehow beat my fastest lap which I thought was safe considering he must have done that on worn tyres and ballast! Great job Maikel!
8) Tried to set another fastest lap but tyres were gone.
9) Finished 5th, but rueing what could have been a podium.
10) Oh good job me, no ballast again for the next round.  :-* ;) :whistling:

Rift related again?

Hi guys. Time zone changed? Just awayken. Connected but race is in finish.. Wrong time in my side? So sorry .  :-[

Was wondering where you were and surprised to see you join with 10 minutes to go. The clock went 1 hour ahead last weekend, thought that was a global thing and didn't realise it might not be everywhere, sorry about not giving a heads up  :-[

My pedals broke down after two laps, was only able to race at half throttle from this point on, still decided to continue the race to lose all the ballast for the next round :D
See you (hopefully) in two weeks for the next race.

btw: I read somewhere that Russia doesn't participate in that stupid summer/winter time thing. Guess that's why you missed the start Baikal.

What an amazing race that was.

Had some good pace during quali so I was feeling quite confident, but then I had to go and jump the start by a few tenths. Thought my race was done for and a potential loss of the championship. So I went for the drive through a lap later hoping to come back in front of the last few. Came out 7th so I guessed a few had abit of a tussle the first few laps. After that I just put my foot down and tried to get back to the front as fast as possible. I was completely in the zone as I was just putting down good lap after lap. Managed to pass a few up into 4th quickly ( thought I saw you limping quite slowly nfsw ). Saw that the front 3 were having a close fight so I was gaining about a second a lap. With a few great battles and some luck I managed to get back in front with my rear tyres pretty worn out. Still, even managed to snatch the purple lap from Simon  ;D

So all in all a pretty much perfect race for me  8)

Shame you missed the race Alexey

Another great event, really enjoyed it. The qualifying was tense, I beat my PB by 3 tenths and think I was sitting 3rd till the last minute or so and then ousted down to 5th.
Great lap from Maikel and then 6 drivers all within a tenth or so.
Got a good start in the race and then enjoyed some good battles and just tried to hang on to the leaders. I was feeling quite pleased as I thought Maikel was leading and I was more or less keeping up. I don't have a driver list so I didn't know he was behind me but I soon saw him fast approaching in my mirrors about half race distance. He got passed in a couple of laps and later I was gifted the final podium when Felix made a mistake a few laps from the end. Well done to Maikel for a great drive and as always Jeffrey was again at the sharp end. Shame Simon didn't add to his purple lap collection.

No I was back to using my triple monitors, have done last two races as kept getting bad eye strain headache with the rift  :(  Might have to sell it as my eyes get too much of a hammering at work. Shame  :'(

Sounds like several people had technical issues this eve?  :-\ still miffed at not getting to race properly. :-X

Mark J So sorry for you are not using VR.  IMHO, it will take 2-3 years to have VR complete comfortable for users.. So, i am calm with it )
BTW black screen in AC is the thing which coming from other programs takes video focus/ I allways close some other programs and AVirus and updates services in task maneger before the race . And all seems to be ok ( no black screens)
Maikel, congrats win! Great race it was for you, I want to have you replay to see how it was (to compensate my race absent and fight passion) PM please if you can  :)

Yes thanks Alexey, I've only ever had it happen once before in AC, it's usually very stable. Odd that it happened just as I crossed the line, like it tried to write something back to the HD. I do sometimes get a stutter over the line so one of the apps must be recording/reporting something  :-\
I do often forget to shut down background AV etc though.

Re the Rift, it's great for immersion but I was missing the great graphics from my triples and not feeling like my head was in a boiling bag for an hour whilst someone shone torches into my eyeballs  ::) I will just be more selective what cars/races I use it for. :-\

A top 6 finish was on the cards tonight so a painful drop out. Well done podium.

Qually was really close, when I gained a tenth I jumped up a few places, but I messed my last attempt and I saw myself drop from 2nd to 4th in the dying minute.

When the lights went out, I thought Maikel had a Bottas like start, but I guess it was Nottas good  ::).
First lap I had a good battle with Flavus, going side by side through the first few corners. After that I was following nfsw, but his car was rubberbanding a bit on the straight (racing on wifi?), so it was a bit weird trying to follow closely. Luckily for me I was able to get by a few laps later.

I was able to follow Felix quite easily as his car was a lot heavier, but just couldn't get close enough as he nailed his exits. That's when I realised Maikel wasn't in the lead, so this battle was for the lead.
After an earlier attempts failed, I was able to get by at the Gosser Kurve around 3/4 distance. I then had to worry about Maikel who had closed up the gap.

Didn't take long for me to mess up my braking. Took a defensive line for Gosser but I braked at the wrong brake marker, so lifted off briefly to correct it, but I went wide because of that  :-X. Bit annoyed to just hand Maikel the lead like this, I'd prefered if he had to work for it a bit harder. Knew I wouldn't be able to follow after he got past.

Here is my replay: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ba5qll5z8rnqmia/ferrari_599xxevo%40ks_red_bull_ring-layout_gp_20180328221728?dl=0

From the replay Mark it looked like you warped and came back on top of Bob's car. After that you went through the pit wall, your car stayed on the ground, except for all 4 wheels were 20' in the air lol.

Something not quite right though, Bob says he was driving a red no.24 car. On my replay he's driving a black and red no.3 car. Not sure if that's a problem my end or AC end.

Rear ended at start, but as I qualified near the back it only made a time difference. Ended up higher than expected so no complaints.

Yeah looks like I suffered a good old fashioned disconnect, as when I checked my router after, it indicated connection problems, no doubt two days of heavy rain had fubared the line  ::)

First of all I must say I hate this car. I don't understand the braking and it seems that lap after lap you have to adjust your braking point according to something that escapes my comprehension. Luckily the next will be the last race with this car.

My 0 laps training didn't help too much, and my 9th place in qualif. was near to my expectations. Unfortunately at the start I was hit by Syd on my rear bumper at the braking of the first corner, so I couldn't avoid the crash with the car ahead, that was Simon's car. My pace was getting better lap after lap and after 20 mins I was almost on the same pace of the leaders. I tried to push as much as I could, but I did too many mistakes to keep a good pace. By that moment I had nobody to fight with. Maikel came back like a rocket and I was only more angry with this fucking car when he passed me. This car brakes out of sympathy. One lap it brakes, the subsequent not.
In the last laps I was quite tempted to retire myself, but decided to finish the race to take some points. Simon completed his come back and when I was sixth I let FMG and Chris Thorpe pass to lose some extra weight. I tried to reconquer the seventh position in the last lap but Chris was good enough in defending himself.

See you

Matteo, so sorry to hear... I am fully sitisfied this car and have a good fun races in this cup. ( When not in sleep and when British Summer Time  was not implemented  ;D
I know- you are not beginner but i can say that in this car, brakes is working fine , IMHO:
- This car is heavy but good powered. With ballast and own weight braking point is different . Must to be tested before the race, not during  ;)
- To brake in 2 pair of wheel on curb adding 40 meters ( RB ring hard breaking) . If you have an extremal cambers- toe settings- wait  for brakes nonstability ( according track phisical mesh ans suspention settings, ABS will be in trying to compensate the lower tire contact point). It's cool and from real life too.
- Due Brake ballance is not allow to manage from cockpit , ideal brake ballance is diffetent ( 2 points for me) in race\qualy mode. Real life here too  :)
- Tyres needs 2 laps to heat up 2 laps. + 40 meters distance adding.
IMHO- all is correctly realised by holy Kunos team  :)
For me F599xxx EVO is very competitive super car. May be only in AC. But must to be used only in very good skill communityes, same like UKAC  :)

Probably due to my throttle problems. The throttle input oscillated between 50% and 100% on the straights which made it look like connection issues I guess.

Erm, if those server times are accurate why do I have a penalty?
At 12 seconds in I'd been dive-bombed from both the left and right while avoiding everyone and someone in a Red car to my left skewered Simon ???

Time stamp was the 12th lap. I didn't review anything from you in the first lap, only thing that was reported.

Problem with the replays,  everybodies Times will be different, so reporting the lap in which it happens is often easier.
