Hi an update to above, traveled far to try this at a friends and had no success after spending a lot of time trying. As also interested in getting Occulus Rift for Assetto and Project cars took my ssd drive with above installed on to try, after another hour or so installing drivers etc all worked. My PERSONAL view with just a few hours on Rift it is not for me, great to sit in car and look all around by just moving head and when racing good immersion, but the downside graphics very poor and got disorientated and had some motion sickness, if the next generation of Rift has better graphics might try again as VR is obviously going to be the future, for now will invest in new graphics card and later maybe get a larger monitor.

system tried on

win 10/ 16gb ddr4/ gtx970. my ssd/ driving force gt/ gt5 pedals

HTC have released new Hive headset pro with 78% better resolution, i wonder if Oculus Rift will be bringing out a new model.
