Title: UKGPL Season 32 (2017-18) Joe Shaw Memorial 2018 - Leipzig - Apr 3 Post by: EvilClive on April 02, 2018, 02:57:43 PM +0100 Season 32 JSMT Trophy – Practice race - Leipzig
A practice race for round 3 of the JSMT uses the 65 cars around a street circuit. There are different surfaces with tarmac and cobbled roads, with narrow sections and wider sections...tight bends and fast sweeping curves....oh! and the occasional lampost ;D But on the plus side the architecture is very interesting with plenty of old buildings to look at if you have time. This practice race will use the 65 cars, which will also be used in the points scoring race next Sunday.
unlimited S/R but each reset must be followed by a SnG For this practice race in the 65's, Pro drivers cannot use the Ferrari, Brabham BT11 or Lotus. Ams have free choice. Something like DropBox I've forgotten my SRMZ password and the password reset is down because the CAPTCHA facility needs upgrading on the site. This is also preventing me from creating a new account so I'm a bit stuck. massive thanks in advance Malcolm Title: Re: UKGPL Season 32 (2017-18) Joe Shaw Memorial 2018 - Leipzig - Apr 3 Post by: francesco on April 03, 2018, 08:00:05 PM +0100 Thank you Axel.

Have to schedule some prior to this run.
And, was thinking a lot over what's transpired recently. Nullifying the result from Sempione would be unfair to me and Doni who, knowing I have more at stake, is probably looking at me for direction. But there's unfairness to everyone that couldn't attend due to the scheduling, which while Clive may have goofed there, the rest of us should have twigged to the likely problem and suggested a change of date. I was completely self-absorbed during qually (only watching the time left and gap to P2), and didn't notice the paucity of the grid, or may have said something even before the off. So... as far as I'm concerned, feel free to erase that result from the JSMT standings and reschedule the run. Hope more people get a better race out of it. As it transpired the impact was far greater than anticipated. I am acutely aware that to discard the Sempione result is unfair to Dean and Doni, after all they did nothing wrong and everything right. So the only thing I would propose is the addition of an extra race at a Papyrus original track, if the membership feels that is appropriate? |
