To get the feeling of the upcoming GTX mod tyres... The faster driver use 2 gear cars (ChapE and Andretti Lola 427) :oops:

One hot lap in prac with a "pffft hope this works" setup was enough to expose some nasty handling "features" but not cure any of them. Kept finding new spots to not quite save that spin so hit quit before I affected someone else's fun.
Title: Re: UKGPL Season 33 Fun - 66 CanAm - Monza - May 8 Post by: francesco on May 08, 2018, 10:29:08 PM +0100 I have used the car with 2 gear because with the 5 gear nothing to do.I have appllied Fairshift instead of the usual GPL shifter because seem the only one that work with the Fanatec wheel.Strange is that into the game all is ok but not into the online.Not explained this behavior.
Anyway the race was quite comfortable as driving, excluding the Ascari.Only no more than 2 time i was able to do it at ful gas,probably something wrong in the setup.Axel tell me if you have suggestion . you load the setup and check "proportional springs" - when you now change the front wheelrate the rear wheelrate will be changed proportional to the weight balance. More by luck than performance as the customer M1B wasn't handling as well as I'd like, I found myself in P2 around 2/3 distance but then the eyeballs started to fog over so I called it a day. If anyone is so inclined to host, I would support 'Fenders on Friday Night'. All our premium races in S33 are going to be for open-wheelers and I'd love a chance to wheel out the CanAm66's, CanAm71's and GT cars. Takers?
