NON CHAMPIONSHIP Fun race Password: see above (#post_event_password) Practice: 20:00 (30 mins) Qual 2: 20:30 (15 mins) Race: 20:45 (30 mins) Cars allowed: GT3 Track: Nurburgring Sprint Time of Day Setting: 13:00 Weather: Dry Start: Rolling Tyre wear: Normal Fuel consumption: Normal Pit-stops: None required Notes: (1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage. (2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the rules about in-game chat messages. (3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the relevant Track Packs for this series (4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit. (5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface) Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this. Don't forget I will be holding a RRE GT3 biweekly series in a few weeks so now would be a good time to get a few GT3's! The practice server is now up and running for tomorrow nights race! Title: Re: RRE Season 5 (2018) - Nürburgring - Jun 24 Post by: spanner on June 24, 2018, 03:57:48 PM +0100 Tried a couple of laps in timetrial, leaderboard mode with the new Audi, Merc, Calloway Corvette and Porsche and a half attempt withe Maclaren 650s but looked like i was ontrack for a similar time. All on defaults or close to but for all of them was suffering with loads of understeer so couldnt attack as i wanted but were all around the mid to low 1:29's except the porsche which was a 1:28:7. Really enjoyed the porsche because it turned in really nicely.

Never did get a handle on sorting the front end as the fronts were close to being yellow. After a mistake by Pete managed ot get in the lead but was focusing on the closing Frex. Pete panicking about people disappearing was a bit distracting, but managed to stay ahead till the flag! Hard going! Good race with Pete and Frex/
