thanks Jeff.

And banner link fixed  :-*

though I had some good historics fixtures in mind, I was also aware a few of our moderns drivers have been missing of late. Hopefully a bit of new car action will bring a few back  :)
This car is good fun and a controllable beast.

Lol i guess most people are going to buy it. Not sure my downlad speed will allow me to play it too soon so will be turning up!

Do you mean the Nissan GTR NISMO Mark? Thats the only road going version i have.

Have they released the minimum PC specs for ACC yet? I keep checking and haven't seen it yet. The only post I have seen says that it is provisionally going to be an NVIDIA GeForce 760. I have a 750 at the moment, the newest card I can fit to my motherboard is a 760, so I am keeping my fingers crossed they don't change their minds or I will need to shell out for a new PC.

D’oh!  ::)  just rechecked the ACC roadmap, it’s ‘just’ the Huracan and Nurburgring  :whistling:

Ah well, I’ll be one of those downloading it on the day but will race here for this combo.  :)

I'd rather race here - as it's only 1 car on one track and without the Rift I won't feel I'm missing out too much

Great car this, and very fast at Suzuka  :o

Save yourself some wasted laps and take out 4-5 psi from the front tyres and about 2-3 rear.

Two summers ago I was lucky enough to get 3 hotlaps with Tom Chilton (BTCC racer and Brands Hatch lap holder!) driving a souped up GTR around the full GP circuit, it was awesome, he really monstered the kerbs in a true touring car way!  8) Epic ride  :)

Stracker stopped for me too today, guess their server crashed.
I did a 2.20 or 2:19I think, so you’ll be in the 17/18’s  ;)

thanks Pete.  :)

I noted I put the wrong laptimes earlier, it was meant to be 2:19/20 PB's for me so far with 30L fuel onboard.

Nice combo. Car feels kind of racy too after a bit of tweaking with the settings.

What did you change? I can't remember being able to do much, except turn off TC.

I changed tire pressures and camber and toe settings to get rid of the understeer and overheating fronts. And TC off indeed. Still a street car, but it reduces the understeer to a point the car gets fun to through around.

Nuclear cow in outer space. ;D
BTW Stracker is not set properly. May be obsolete version. No speed graph exist. :)

Higher or lower settings though? Part of me think less camber and toe will give  more tyre in contact with track giving you more grip on the front. The other half thinks the other way and increasing toe and camber will shift the bias towards the rear!

I decreased the camber settings indeed. As it was overheating the fronts and had to compensate the rear to get it balanced again. You can get nice 4 wheel slides now.  ;D

B’ah potential great close pack race ruined by that stupid melee in turn 1  ::)  that was really clumsy by all involved  :(
It meant before turn 2 half the field were 9 seconds down on the front 4 in equal cars! I wanted to do a restart but had no idea how too  ???

Qually didn’t quite go to plan but I was on same time as Alexey to the tenth! So was expecting a real close race. Turn 1 ruined that but thanks to Stefan I still had a race long battle  :fencing: great fun and we swapped places a few times. With about 7 mins remaining my front tyres were dissolved and he closed back up on my lead. I was struggling in every corner with understeer and he retook the lead on the last lap to finish ahead.  :)

Hated this car when I first tried it, just seemed like an understeery mess. But after (sort of) working out how to drive it, it became a delight and really good  fun.

B’ah potential great close pack race ruined by that stupid melee in turn 1

Indeed. I felt a slight bump on my outside and looked in my mirror to see the carnage unfold behind me. Didn't think it was my fault, but stopped anyway to let everyone recover and go past me. It was a fun race after all. Enjoyed chasing back, and was catching the MJ/Stefan battle towards the end, but then made an error and dropped back again. Front tyres were gone by then. Fun race though, enjoyed it. Congrats podium.

Wondered why you pulled over, don’t think you were at fault  :-\ I saw a white car slam into a black car that sent it spinning across track. I slowed to avoid it only to get a double whack from behind that then sent me spinning  ::) think someone tried a ‘days of thunder’ keep your foot in tactic  :P
I had my Rift on which meant I had no driver names to pinpoint.

Crossed the line 2/10ths behind Stefan   :o

I must be relatives too Baikal, as I started with a full tank load too.. That didn't help the cars handling.
Agreed with the first turn accident. Very clumsy. I thought I was clear and in front of Frex, but that did not seemed to be the case unfortunately. Still a fun race, dicing with MJ.

Here is an on-board vid from the last lap on shod tires.
