Season 33 Extra will be an unofficial championship of 8 races over the next few weeks using the original 1967 mod. We start things off at Brands Hatch which at one time rivalled Silverstone for hosting the British Grand Prix. No registration required & the series is open to all comers. This will be run as mixed grid. There is a free choice of chassis, although Pro drivers should not takethe Lotus or the Eagle. Points will be scored according to the traditional method of 9 for 1st, 6 for 2nd, 4 for 3rd, 3 for 4th, 2 for 5th & 1 for 6th. The series moderator will publish a table of results. Have fun, but please observe GPL rules & driving standards. Server = UKGPL8 @ VROC IP = 92.116.142.152 Race date = Sunday 14-10-2018 Time = 21:00 UK time (21:00 GMT) Track = brands67 (http://srmz.net/index.php?showtopic=6810) Race length = 28 Laps (45 minutes) Variant = 1967 60fps patch used = 60fpsV2newmod Damage Model = Intermediate Qualifying time = 30-45 minutes Replay = here (ftp://ftp.ukgpl9.co.uk:32122/Season33/S33xtra/) There is no Red Zone. Moderating will be on reported incidents only. Remember that lap 1 incidents carry an additional penalty place. All drivers are permitted unlimited Shift R’s, but each reset must be followed by a Stop & Go in the pit lane within 2 laps. Failure to take a Stop & Go will result in a Disqualification. If you require a Stop & Go on the final lap & are unable to complete a time penalty of 15 secs is added. Please restrict chat to pit messages including at the end of the race until ALL drivers still racing have crossed the line. No problem here to join, you must set all things in GEM+ and click on VROC use the advanced - BW - core.ini settings! everybody should make a test and join the training server as it is not as easy as iGOR. Sometimes just a "reconnect" helps when the acces is denied at the first time... It said it was "fast01" but I can't remember where they came from. It's might just a qually/hot lap setup as after a few laps I find that I have overheated the left rear. Is this just my right foot that is the problem or might I be able to make it better by softening the back end? Two seconds off my regular Brab pace around here, and clumsy at that, lost its shine after half dozen laps. Sorrys to anyone caught by one of my "moments".

Title: Re: UKGPL Season 33 (2018) - Brands Hatch - Oct 14 Post by: Jeep on October 14, 2018, 11:51:02 PM +0100 Apologies to anyone distracted by my awful connection. :( Everythng was smooth as silk during qualifying and just before the flag dropped everyone started disappearing (So obviously a problem on my end). I figured I would see if it improved in the opening laps and retire if it didn't. But then everyone started throwing their cars at the scenery and the field thinned out so I followed Cookie for a while and after he spun out at Paddock hill bend I was running alone with Jonny a few 100yds up the road and Pelle the same distance behind.
A mostly uneventful race from my end. Had 1 spin at Hawthorns a few laps from the flag but other than that kept it ion the black stuff and cruised home in 2nd. TTFN John.
