;D

Just joined the server and had a look, currently the version with the slow chicane is used, the Sprint (GT) layout would be the one with the fast chicane

Looks like i wont be turning up. My T300 wheel's desk clamp has finally worn out, the threads are worn and I cant tighten it enough.

Trying to work out how i can mount the wheel, am going to have to drill through my desk.

cant you use some shims or packers between the desk and clamp so that the biting point on the threads is sooner than it would normally be? couple of thin pieces of wood should do the trick.

Hope your internet gets restored in time Itamar  :)

I'm not expecting a lot more pace from myself.  I always struggle at nurburgring and my stiff setup doesn't work here, so I need to find something else that works or settle with damage limitation.

Struggle?

I found a tad more coast helps here for that big braking zone at the end of the s/f straight and also the skipping brake zone to the tight right hander where we vere off for the sprint layout

Sorry I misunderstood what you meant, I though you were all being funny as Mark had the quickest time thus it must have gone wrong.

sTracker is a bit of a pain, you have to run one instance for each AC server but only 1 can host the live website. Someone must have stopped the master copy, I've restarted it and the page is there again.

Sure Apex, there are only a few ‘spare’ cars available to non pre booked drivers so you might not get your preferred choice but they are all similar anyway.  :)

Booo home grown Stephan has knocked me off the top of the times sheet  ;D I won’t be able to repeat that Time again anyway  :'(

Sorry for R2/L1, I was trying to just let you all go, and payed too much attention to my mirrors. Missed by brake point and spun. Ended up last I think lol pole to last in half a lap, oh the shame of it.

Larry F , sorry for bump in 2nd race, i was with no gas, but . You has lag this lap for me, i must be more carefull here.
Congrats podiums and winners! :)
PS. I've found one bad thing for me in point system. If i am out of 10, and i have big time gap with guys in front , no reason to race to the the end in deepest siberian night due want's to sleep :-[ Better to see battles staying in pits  :)
Next time we'll need extended point system, imho for such cars.
PPS. Simply forgot to press clutch pedal in starting 1st race ...

Guys if you find yourself up front in race 2 you have to just keep the racing line and go at your own pace. Let the fast guys find their way past you. Getting out the throttle or trying to move over in the first few corners will just cause chaos to the chasing pack who are usually unsighted.

I had a fantastic pair of races (except a numpty cold brake moment in race 2  :-[ )
The racing up front was superb with some really great clean battles  :thumbup1:

Race 1 I had a great race long fight with Fabri in a 3 car battle chasing Kimi in 4th. We were glued together and though Kimi was getting ragged we couldn’t get past. Finished 6th.

Race 2 was brilliant watching the front 6 all having a great scrap whilst chasing them all and joining the action. I had a titanic battle with Kimi for 4th climbing all over him , whilst fighting off Shark! and he got more and more defensive until finally Kimi got a bit wide and I was up the inside and fended him off until the end.  :fencing:
Finished 4th place which is best I could have hoped for behind the super fast top 3  8)

Congrats to the race winners Jeff and Nfsw  :notworthy:

That was an epic event ;D

Race 1 was something of a non-event for me, Kai run wide on lap 1 allowing me into 3rd and then nearly span behind me in the fast chicane on cold tires - this let me escape while dropping him into Fabri's reach.
NFSW made a mistake a lap or 2 later allowing me to sneak up inside him on the final turn and then he lost it big time under braking into T1 (Too much rear brake I'm guessing - I did that a few times in practice also).
This left me comfortably in 2nd but unable to gain on Jeffers or do more than just slightly eek away from P3. Shame, as the fight behind looked great fun.

Race 2 more than made up for this though, After entering T1 3 wide (Me caught in the middle) I found myself surrounded by cars for the first few corners. Jeff then pulled a great double bluff to pass me into the chicane.
He gave me no choice but to cover even though I was convinced he couldn't/wouldn't make a pass.
So the bugger went up beside on the right and somehow held it together enough to actually pass me :gun_bandana:

The entirety of the rest of the race was spent inches from Jeffs car fighting my way back up through the field behind him.
He managed to pull a small gap when he cleared (Jari I think) and I was caught up for half a lap or more - and then kindly threw himself onto the grass enough for me to get back up onto his bumper.
I absolutely could not get passed though no-matter what I tried, so well driven Jeff.

I also thought I may have inadvertantly performed a dodgy block on Kimi, although watching the repay I somehow managed to actually change line at exactly the same time he did. So fair enough :o

Can't wait for Zandy, I think these cars could be good fun and something of a challenge there 8)

Really enjoying this series so far, especially the second races.

I wish I could take credit for the double bluff, but I was merely trying to see where we were on track  ;D. When I got alongside due to the slipstream, I was just going to see how far I could go with the move and when I saw you brake a bit earlier, I decided to go for it. The back end did break out a bit, which caused me to give less room than I was planning.

He managed to pull a small gap when he cleared (Jari I think) and I was caught up for half a lap or more - and then kindly threw himself onto the grass enough for me to get back up onto his bumper.
I absolutely could not get passed though no-matter what I tried, so well driven Jeff.

The front end of my car was pretty banged up due to an incident in lap 1 and I was still trying to find the new limits of the car through the chicane.  I found it in that attempt  :P

I had a fantastic pair of races (except a numpty cold brake moment in race 2  :-[ )

Why do you keep doing that when I am behind you, I was looking forward to a scrap :).

I happy to see that this FWD cars brings a lot of fun to RWD apologets pilots.  :thumbup1: This is a point where is the "hotlaping" mode is not main thing . There is more complex battles in overall!
Love this 2 races format and this cars, even if the championship was unsuccessful for me personally.  :)
Yesterday tryied new v1.7 Seat. Car was slightly chanded and tuned, but containing some strange and not so good things for MP stuff and car behaviour, which is fixed for our track pack, so , imho i have no reason to think about new carpack this time. Our 1.4 version is still the rocks and actual , IMHO :)

Tell me about it! for once I think I could have given you a good fight here. Annoying thing is I actually consciously thought ‘careful on the brakes’  as we approached that corner but then the red? Car ahead braked earlier and harder than I expected and as soon as I put a bit more pressure on the pedal it spat me sideways  :wetfish:  Luckiky I only lost 2 places and got one of those back before the end  :)

I want to ask people again to not use headlights, especially the Alfa. There is no brightness difference between the taillights and the brake lights, the only thing is the 3rd brake light, but that is hidden behind the picnic table at the back. So if you are driving an Alfa and get rear ended a lot...turn your lights off ;).

I use headlights because I can see in car LCD display better, don't you know where to brake without help of the car in front (no offence mate)?
