Do we use Hockenheim GP or National? Server is with National.

Could of sworn the event title said National when I started the server. I've now changed it to GP.

Hehe! I see, we already have a champion of series! Jeff is unreachieble at all!  Congratulations! Increadible speed and battle skill! I hope you enjoyed the series!  :thumbup2:
But as i see, theoretically next 5 pilots can be the second. It's cool!  :fencing: We will see a great battle in champ finish  :)
PS. Jeffrey, we still not have a double wins here! You'll have a last chance!  Come on, brutal northern boy!  :punk:

Jeez, FMG must have found a shortcut.  :o I'm 1.2 off the pace (along with a few others) and thats the worst margin of the season in these cars  ???

By the way, Turn 1 - Two wheels on the tarmac tonight gents, no 4 wheels off, flat outs off track for max speed down the straight. If i see people do it in qually or the race you will get a penalty.  But i understand when your in close combat in the race it may happen, just dont do it repeatedly.  :detective:

No shortcuts, just roughly 2 hours of setup work only to decide an almost untouched Vallelunga setup was quickest.
By the time I'd sussed that, I also had a very good handle on what did and didn't work around here driving wise ;)

I wouldn't worry too much in qually - the track limits are very strict here. T1 is increadibly hard to do fast cleanly - too much inside kerb will slow you excessively anyway, and too wide is picked up instantly as a cut.

Slightly harder in race though I agree - you could just try handing out free points to anyone that actually manages to do T1 within track limits while behind another car, I can see it being that difficult ;D

Don't think I am going to do any more of these. People smashing into each other all over the place
someone had a incident in front, I tried to slow to avoid, and ended up ramming MJ
Enough.

Not a bad end to the season, but I was bored after 6 minutes in the first race with no one to race. 2nd race was more entertaining as I started 3rd and finished 3rd but had battles throughout despite the half lap lag issue that saw cars dropping in and out on lap 1 / lap 2?

Thanks for hosting and organising the series, but I do think we should always put Jeff at the back, makes it more entertaining for us and him!  ;)

Race 2 was chaos due to some severe server lagging. Cars were disappearing and reappearing all over the place causing multiple crashes. You weren’t even visible to me when I suddenly flew off track, wondered what the hell had happened.  :'(

Race 1 I got a disco  ::) bad night all round for me and a shame to end a great series like that  :(

My only highlights were setting some new pbs and also overtaking 6 cars to finish 7th in race 2 from the back of grid  :)

Congrats to both race winners and well done to Jeff as the series champion  :notworthy:

Thanks to all for the great turnouts, plenty of close racing and good fun.  8) Well done and thanks to Alexey for bringing the car set and format and my trusty server man Pete for his help  :thumbup1:
Also thanks to Tony and Jeff for giving up their spare time to help me judge replays and incidents to all the races.  :)

Had a fun qually battle with FMG, I was able to get closer than I expected, but it wasn't enough.

Slotted behind FMG in race 1 and got an opportunity as he a bad exit out of turn 1. Tried to go round the outside at turn 2, but he pulled a Rosberg on me  :P. That also let Kai through, which was annoying at that point, as his car was lagging badly (due to server I see?). When I overtook him, it was me actually just steering around his warping car, so I was lucky it ended up with a successful  overtake.
I got FMG when he ran a bit wide while entering the stadium. Had to keep looking behind till the end of the race.

Race 2 started messy for me. I was extremely cautious in turn 2, I braked earlier than anyone, so it was kinda ironic that it went south after that. I focussed on the exit and FMG and Kai were side by side. They scrubbed a bit which closed the gap and when FMG lifted to not run wide, I got caught out and nudged him. I then tried to go to his right, where Kai came back and I nudged him and then it all went sour:( .

It was fun battling back from that and was looking at the podium, when all of a sudden I was completely wiped out at turn 3. My car was absolutely wrecked and the damage indicator didn't  disappear anymore with red damage at the rear. When I looked at the replay, it's something I've never seen before. The car behind me looked like he was rammed himself, but without any car around him. I don't know who said I needed to be taken out at the start, but that was some voodoo you send my way ;D .

Car was useless after that and I was not able to deliver a fight anymore.

Thanks MJ for this series, it was a lot of work putting this one together with the double format. Also thanks to Alexey for making the eye candy for this series with the different models :).

Thanks for hosting and organising the series, but I do think we should always put Jeff at the back, makes it more entertaining for us and him!  ;)

It's the thing I liked most about this series, but these cars just suited me for some reason and it won't be that way in future series.

Syd, sorry for incident in lap3 r2 1st turn.  :-\ But as i saw in race and in replay after- you was turn to the right slightly early in 1st turn ( i was inside and parallel to you here and was may be slightly late to not to make cut )  and made a contact with me. Sorry anyway. Please, watch the replay and analyse.

Kimi (winner of race? Not sure), if you in sence you are was right with incident at lap 4 race 2  1.18.53 when i was  in P1 after good start and improvements(!) and go down to 5th, (loosing my possible highest position in race, may be win, due your divebomb), and bump me ( 2 times) from rear at 180 degree at full gas to me, than you don't proceding position returns or self penalty using drive throwhgt, i will initiate a protest. I hate this kind of racing and it's  not support in UKAC  reglament and spirit rules. Why the faster guys are respecting this traditions? Why the novices are not? It's not right for me. I am tired to pay my patience and no aggresiveness in this series. And was no protest from me in many cases, which are ruined my champ at all.
But guys, we must slightly to save simracing . Sometimes it was soo bad in views... this kind of driving. 2 races format is not for lammers , we need to learn to respect all around in target to have better racing skill. IMHO- UKAC one of the best platform for it. But next i will report incidents. Because i tired to be patient sometimes. It is only way to support this race format, imho.

Thanks all for championship ! Mark, Jeff, Pete, great thanks for organisation and support. I am happy to see near full grig races in this (FWD!) mod and racing format. :)
If you like this FWD cars, i can correct the mode according new fixes in future  :)

Alexey you should always report the incidents if they seem bad and you lose positions. The incident report link always appears below the results for each race. 3 of us have reviewed (too) many for this series. There was always likely to be more contact with cars that race so closely but there have been a few too unfair incidents for my liking and the lap1 contacts i find the most annoying as you have the whole race to make your move and any clash involves a lot of cars that early in the race.

But lets not detract from what was a great racing series with plenty of good action and fuller grids.  :thumbup1: Glad many enjoyed it.  :) I expect we will use these again in the future so if there is a new improved version we can use that. ps fix that cold brake bias!  :P

I also noticed quite a few running wide at T1 last night and gaining an advantage. :detective:

ps what happened to Jaari on the last lap? He seemed to be a sitting duck with no pace or handling ??? Think he lost about 3 places.

I had two enjoyable races yesterday. Especially the second heat was packed with some nice overtaking actions. Too bad the lag influenced the outcome of the race.

All in all this turned out to be a jolly good series. Big thanks to Baikal and MJ for the efforts. :thumbup1:
Congratulations to Jeff for clincing the title! And it was close with me and my teamy in the points table too. :)
Happy to see Team Legends takes the teams trophy home. @MJ do you want to put the trophy on your shelf first?
